“Loud. No sleep. ”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 20, 2014

My fiance and I stayed here for 3 nights prior to climbing Mt Kinabalu. We arrived relatively late and check in was friendly (as were all the staff) and relatively quick. First impressions the hotel looked well presented and adequate. We had the same impression upon arriving at our room. The shower was magnificent. All was looking very promising for our stay. HOWEVER. The first morning (after arriving late) we were woken by the maid cleaning the room door and seeming to shout into her coms device. I ask her to keep it down and thought no more of it. That night we entered the weekend and we're kept awake by LOUD noise from the nightclubs of kk times square (Maybe this is just at weekends, maybe it was just the rooms facing the square), Loud enough for us to feel the bass vibrations through our bed. Alas the next morning we were once again woken early by a maintenance staff member repairing a door with a hammer. This I raised with the reception staff. We left the next morning very early after 3 nights with very little sleep to climb Malaysias highest mountain. Not the most ideal situation and we felt that lack of sleep acutely on our adventures, I won't say it spoilt our climb, it would take much more than a frustrating hotel experience to spoil a mountain as beautiful as kinabalu.

Checked in for a night for my business trip and was introduced by my friend.

I've got a room with king-size bed... Room is a bit small but it fits a king-size bed! Clean and safe, comfort and cosy.

Nearby there are plenty of outlets, Restorant, cafe, bars, pubs, 24 hours convenient store, etc...

Worth the money spent in what it offers and definitely will be back again!

We chose to stay here for 3 nights as our office is just a minute away. Though we have to drag our bag from the lobby to the next building's lift since all rooms cannot be accessed from the lobby, the room is quite comfy for the price. Every room has their own wifi access. You won't have problem with limitation of wifi connection. No breakfast is served however you can easily find variety of cafes and bars around the KK time square. Yes you will find it hard to get around downtown from here if you don't have own transportation however they can arrange hotel's shuttle at anytime. Since taxis in KK don't bother to use metres, you will find the hotel's car is slightly cheaper than taxi. They even allowed us to use their printer for free. Kudos to the staffs for their hospitality.

Although it's just a budget hotel, the lobby is quite classy and spacious. And, although the room is not big, you will find all the basic things required for a comfortable stay. Food, convenient store, entertainment all convenient located within the same vicinity. Transport by taxi is not an issue even it's not exactly downtown centre. I have been staying in this affortable hotel whenever I'm in KK for the last 2-3 years. And, unlike other budget hotels in town, it has been maintain pretty well. The only issue is that the internet is quite often not working. No issue on lift been located outside since it's just few steps away.

Stay here for a night in a double deluxe room for RM133.40 after tax. It came with a king size bed, a single sofa, lcd tv and bathroom came with rain shower head. There are restaurants and convenient stores within the vicinity. Nightlife is a plus for party goers. However transportation is a main drawback. A stay value for money if transportation isn't an issue for travellers.

The bed was large (King Size) and comfortable. The TV and other appliances were new. Love the rainforest shower head. It's not a very convenient location and there's nothing much to eat in the area. It's also rather pricey for an inn. The hotel doesn't have a cafe or restaurant. My room came with breakfast at a next door cafe. Nothing interesting for breakfast. The hotel has airport transfer service. I happened to meet a very helpful and honest bellboy/driver during my first stay but I don't think he works there anymore. What a shame!

I just stayed one night on this hotel. I was given 1st floor room. You need to take elevator out from the lobby to get to ur room. Room was clean and comes with flat screen tv. Huge bathroom wt basic ameneties. Nice comfortable bed.. Had a good sleep in this hotel. Channels on tv was limited, and the transmission were bad. Have no time watching tv therefore didnt bother abt that. It has no fridge in room. Location wise.. Not far from town but transport would be a problem because its not accessible through the main road. U need to make calls for taxis. However.. Surrounding the hotel, plenty of restaurants, foods n other shops. Best to stay here if u hv own transport. Parking fee is rm2 per entry and free at night. Overall, my stay was not that bad. Worth the money i paid.
