Stayed a night prior my climbing trip to Kinabalu. I was booking through email and had a contact with Jo. I am with my 4 yo daughter and 11 friends. So we booked 2 dormitory rooms for 1 night. Booking was easy and the great thing was the airport pickup. We did rent 2 car for airport pick up and they came up with 3 cars : Jo, Jo's husband, Jo's mother in law, Jo's sister in law, and Nima - Jo's daughter were all together pick up us at the airport at 11:00 PM. Very nice of them, really appreciate that.
The rooms were ok, clean and comfort, more than enough for us. Sharing bathroom and toilet were good, we had hot water as well. Breakfast just enough : bread and boiled egg with tea and coffee.
Location is great, walking distance to shop, restaurant and attraction.
Great place for sure, definitely will be back.
