A beautiful temple, and a great place to spend a morning exploring.
You can wander the grounds, visit the temples, but there is a fee for visiting the pagoda (from where you can get great views of Georgetown), and there is a fee for the fenicular to the statue of Kuan Yin (where you get even better views of Georgetown).
The grounds open at 8:30am, but there are parts you can visit earlier, with beautiful views over Georgetown. Coming early also means you don't have to visit with the crowds that flock to the place. The giftshops here sell a lot of rubbish, but there are a few gems, and the prices are reasonable.
