It's one of the oldest buildings in Georgetown, built in the early 19th century for the Arab settlers so some history there but I am afraid it is not something you should go out of your way to see if staying in Georgetown for just a short time. You could easily walk past it without even noticing it. It does make for a photo stop though and it is interesting to compare with old photos of hte mosque with the local community all standing in front for a group shot. It doesn't take long to see all there is to see,and here are more impressive mosques around.
