After randomly stopping here for a beer on a particulary hot day, we had the pleasure of meeting Govin (owner) and Mr. Eddy (chef).
These guys are terrific! So friendly and welcoming - we ended up coming back four more times during our week long stay in Penang.
We will definitely be back when we return to George Town in June.

Looks like a bar, and if you don't like loud Music don't go there. We really enjoyed the livemusic and the staff is so friendly. We were surprised by the good quality of the Indian food, and came back for more.

We stumbled on Argylle on a rainy Sunday afternoon and ducked in to have a drink and shelter from the rain. Inside we met Govin (co-owner) and Mr Eddy (head chef) on an island full of great folks these two guys stood out as two of the best people you could hope to meet. We made Argylle our base camp for the duration of our stay in Penang.
The location is central to anywhere you want to be in Georgetown and you are welcomed like family when you return. Do yourself a favour and stop in for a drink or a meal.

We loved this place. Came back for a second dinner. And a third time to take away some naan. The suggested an item not on the menu which was great. My level of spicy. My wife had something less spicy. 2nd best naan we ever had
