“Fantastic cakes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We had been told to go and try the cakes and we're glad we did. The food was great but I have never seen such an amazing selection of cakes anywhere. We tried three and they were all delicious. The building is amazing and it's in a great location so you can walk off some of the food later!

“nice coffee and desert ~”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012

do you like coffee?
or desert? perhaps some music or drawing?

I like here because they do produced good coffee, from the varieties of choices and also the quality of the coffee.
when i open the door i can smell the coffee...better than starbucks ( for me atleast)...

yet the desert is nice, if you been here, you surely have to order one to try it out.

For me, these all are still not the main point, Chinahouse builiding structures is quite special (credit to the old building style), not big, however, Long.
it can have a fine dining place at front, open air/garden style at the middle and bar (with live band) at behind..

and they have paper stick to the table, and they provide you crayon and let you draw on the table u sit...is quite fun to be there with friends.

Most of the time, i saw many foreigner do enjoy the food and drinks at there...

“Lovely paintings and good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2012

Another little Gem in Georgetown. This restaurant is fairly new so the taxi driver told us. It is run by Australians and when there lots of locals. Nice paintings on the walls and very good coffee and cake. - which is popular with the young ones.
We had a three course meal. The food took a while but was worth waiting for. I had the breads to start and my husband a lamb entree which was lovely. He had duck for mains and I had the lamb which was mouth watering beautiful. Bit more expensive than most here but still like Australian cafe prices so okay for us. Worth a visit. They have an art gallery upstairs but preffered the art on the walls which was still lifes and very colourful
