The food was amazing, the atmosphere was great all in all good place. Prices were reasonable and don't be scared to try everything because we went back 3 times.

It took a bit of effort to find this restaurant but it was well worth it. We enjoyed a meal that included a wonderful fresh salad, a nice appetizer of bacon-wrapped cheese, and homemade Bulgarian sausages. The restaurant has a very pleasant feel and the service was prompt and attentive. It was my first go-round with Bulgarian food and I would defintely go back as the prices are extremely reasonable.

That's what I ask my guest to Penang because I hadn't until I lived across the road form one. Vintage Bulgaria is now a family favourite and not just for the food. That said the food is superb and especially the pork knuckle (one of the best in Penang), the lamb shank in brown sauce, and of course the beef stroganoff. But Vintage Bulgaria is more because in a country where service is hit and miss, Bulgaria doesn't miss a beat. The service staff are welcoming and know the menu so they tell you what is not available before you order aaaand you get your meals served at the same time so your party can eat together. Our family loves it and totally recommend it.
