“Lovely location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

The cafe is situated right on the beach. The ambience of this café is great. I would definitely visit again even though the food wasn't that great.

“Cocktails on the beach watching the sun set!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

This was the only restaurant we could find on Pangkor Island that offered a variety of alcoholic drinks, with a lovely beach setting and a varied menu. Service for food was slow, but we thought it worth it, given all the other pluses. If you are expecting restaurants such as you find in Thailand and Bali, then this is the place for you. A variety of cocktails to choose from, plus beer or wine, right on the beach, and the food was delicious. I hope to find more restaurants like this when we return to Pangkor! Other restaurants were alcohol free, or only served beer, which is fine, if you are only after the authentic Malaysian food experience.

“Awesome View”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 1, 2013

I ate at here a few times during my stay in Pangkor. The food was pretty decent. A little pricey, but it was expected. If you are looking for traditional Malaysian Cuisine, this is not the place for you...This place caters more to the western and European travelers. The location was amazing with wonderful views of the water and Coral Island. Eating while the sun is setting is beautiful, and perfect for couples looking for a romantic night out.

“Ok restaurant before 18:30”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

Great for lunch, but once the evening comes the staff are unable to cope with more than 20 customers. Wine, main courses and lighter options all run out, the curry is watered down to soup, and it takes a minimum of one hour for any food to arrive. Most staff (with the exception of the always excellent Viknesh) work very slowly, ignore drink and food orders, hide behind the bar to flirt with each other and generally avoid any work. The manageress was just as bad, and if there was any real choice of restaurants or cocktail menus on Pangkor, they would soon be out of business.

Very frustrating to eat here, but the food served is still of a decent standard - when you can get it! I'd advise lunch but not dinner unless you're desperate.

“Nice beach cafe”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2012

Chill, nice cold drinks on the beach! Lots of western people though, but still a nice cafe. It located on a nice beach, much better then the Nipah Bay Beach
