“Woolley for breakfast, lunch and dinner !”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2013

Also known as Ipoh Garden (怡保花园), Woolley is a gem waiting to be discovered! Woolley Food court (Daytime) and Woolley Food Centre (Dinner) both offer so much food variety we went back twice over two days.

Daytime - Try the Mee-suah pork noodles (the tender pig liver WOW! and sweet broth) and wanton noodles (old school taste and texture). We heard the western stall offers delicious lamp-chop rice.

Evening - Popiah (pack with dried shrimps) is a must try. The Bak Ku Teh is herbal in nature, but some might say it is a little bland. Claypot rice is nice, and ordered on most tables. ICe Kachang will cool us down. The No1 dish for us is the cuttlefish kangkong!

Be it day or night, Woolley makes our stomach happy ! Families will be able to find something which all can enjoy.

About 15min drive from our Hotel Regalodge.

“Lots of variety, but you have to pick the right stalls”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

This place is properly spelled as Woolley. It's a food court with a number of stalls. The food quality varies but what I like are the char koay teow, curry mee with siew yoke, jawa mee, and beef noodles.

The drinks stall is also quite good and I like the leng chee kang, won tou long (an Ipoh speciality). The ais kacang is also ok.

At night, it is better to go next door to the food street (which is not open during lunch).

“Great selection of hawker food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

It is open only during the day. You will definitely find one of your favourite food here. Try the ice kacang. Good variety of condiments. Try the Char Kuey Toew near the toilet. Real tasty. But the Prawn Mee stall next to it is not recommended. Do try the nyonya kuih from the old lady.
At night the hawker stall next to the building comes alive. The chicken wing is to die for. A lot of people come here for the crabs by the stall in the middle. Also a good opportunity to try the local 'Hor Hee'. Basically noodle soup with condiments. Not to miss is the chee cheong fun with mushroom sauce.

“Variety of foods”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 13, 2012

They offer plenty of varieties of food you can try which is good for the travellers. Reasonable price as they have satay, laksa, curry, dim sum, rojak and others...
