“Comfortable & clean”

Room was comfortable & clean, large but not luxurious, quiet for a good sleep. Location was not so good unless you're prepared to walk or have a car. Junior receptionists were not very welcoming unlike the manager who was very helpful.
Not very much for the tourist in Ipoh particularly in the area around Regalodge.

Room Tip: we stayed in an Executive Suite

Delighted to know that you found our room are comfortable and clean. We work diligently to ensure our rooms and services are superior and we try our best to provide not just good value, but comfortable, clean and friendly accommodations.

Thank you for your warm recognition on me with regards as a helpful manager. However it sounds like we failed to provide excellent performance with regards to the Front Desk staff. Please accept my sincere apologies and I will relate this matter to the Front Office Executive to refresh the welcoming friendly services in daily briefing.

Disappointed that you couldn't find any tourist spots around the hotel, but in fact there are some tourist spots and a lot eatery spots nearby, and I am regret that we failed to let you know about this.

Me and my team look forward the opportunity to welcoming you at Regalodge again, and this time we wish to give you a memorable experience in Ipoh.

Overall this is a good hotel to stay. A real 3 star hotel with 4 star appliances (renovated). Clean simple design room which we like it. Friendly service too. Only one thing to be considered, the toilet bowl perhaps it's time to change or wash to be white clean but not yellowish.

I found good rating for this hotel so decided to try it, however it was just waste of money. In their site they said that the size of standard room is 20 however with the bath and the corridor hardly reached to 15, it means beside the beds there was not any space. the room furniture was very old and poor also there were many ants around the beds. We did not like to walk inside as the floor carpet was sticky and dirty and also no guest sandals. Their breakfast not bad but small portion and not enough for an adult, i asked 2 more toasts but they did not bring for us!!! not any yard or space around. I really do not know how people gave such good rating to this hotel. never come back.

Room Tip: request for 'renovated room' in your booking - 3th floor is renovated and 4th is old

Thank you for staying with us and it is a grave disappointment to learn that we have left a poor impression with you and I appreciate you took the time to highlight the shortcoming.

Your comments on our room size came as a surprise, as our official website stated our Standard or Superior room size is 16 square meter but not 20 square meter. We came to understand that you and your husband and your 2 children are occupying the room which I suppose it's too small for 4. Please kindly notify us next time, we are more then happy to offer others category of rooms to you, which are bigger.

Please be informed our Level 2 and 3 rooms are fully renovated and we budgeted to renovate the 4th Floor very soon.

With regards to the ants and cleanliness in the room, we do practice constant cleaning and apply preventive measures and schedules as according to our SOPs. We do spend a large amount of monthly expenses to companies that specialize in pest control to assist us too. I would not deny we may have missed a spot at times but I don't think we are in such situation in our hygiene practice. We regretted that you didn't highlight this issue to us whilst in house with our Duty Officer and he will immediately look into it.

We did supply disposable room slipper for guests convenience which is located below the luggage rack.

We sincerely regret our service and food portion for breakfast in our restaurant didn't met your expectation and I related your feedback to the Restaurant Manager who took your order, he do felt regret on this, but he can't recalled you ordered the toast. We constantly collect feedback from our guests, and supposely the sizeable portion is decent enough for breakfast. Kindly accept my sincere apologies for the incovenience caused. Please rest assured, we will look into this matter again.

Your comments may have made a blimp in our reputation but I believe we not be rated highly by majority of our guests if we are incapable in meeting their requirements and expectation. Once again, me and my Team like to apologize for the shortcoming that you have experienced and I will duly advise the various department heads to seriously look into the necessary precaution to avoid future disappointments.

Nothing is more important than regaining your trust on us. My colleagues and I look forward to the pleasant opportunity of welcoming you back in the near future should your travel brings you back on either business or leisure purpose, thereby allowing us the opportunity to deliver the quality service performance as expected of Regalodge Ipoh, as what you experienced is not the kind of service standard that we provide as you seen from other guest reviews.

This hotel has been awhile in Ipoh but it still looks good with the attentive staffs, rooms clean, air-con is great, location is ok but parking is limited.
Felt cosy and been staying here for all my trips to ipoh in regardless business or leisure,

For what its worth, this Hotel put in their best effort! The room that we book for a night while stayed over for family vacation to lost world tambun was clean, well equiped but very small for the price.
Overall Service was fine, the car park attendant were active n tries to locate carpark for us in their small compound. But the hk staff were tight lips n didnt speak or smile.

Great fine dining breakfast with a 3 stars hotel! Very compatible to 5 stars hotel with 3 stars price. Convenient location n good in house facilities, best thing is tht it comes with Astro n bath tub!

Regalodge, a basic hotel reasonably priced. Check in and check out is quite efficient. The unexpected find at this basic hotel is that it houses a fine dining western restaurant. The food at this restaurant is not cheap but it's quite good quality.
