We visited the Banjaran in October 2010 for 3 days (the calendar goes back only until 2011 summer) , as part of a round tour in peninsular Malaysia. The resort is wonderful, beautiful setting, lovely villas, good service. The food is a bit boring compared to the otherwise excellent local food. At this level one should have the opportunity to eat what one likes and not being on a forced diet - even in a wellness retreat. The real big thing would be a pool with cool water - no chance, the 70 degree spring keeps everything hot, which can be a bit too much in 35 degrees. Lovely birds in the garden, followed us anywhere we went. Anyway, it is money well spent whatever it costs - we deserve it after all :-)
