“Beautiful rainbow form at the waterfall”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2014

Getting to the waterfall itself is exciting and adventurous on a 1hr 10mis 4WD drive, with over hanging branches once in a while and remember to duck or if u don't mind being wack by the branches. follow by another very interesting 40mins hike up with river crossing to the waterfall, it can be tiring if u have never workout before. Once u get to the waterfall the view is beautiful...and we can't wait to get into the waterfall to touch the rainbow and be surrounded by the rainbow.

“Good hiking through the rainforest”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2014

Organize your transport in Sungai Lembing or with the Tourist Office in Kuantan and you will head off around 6:30am from the local food court in the town center.
It is about 1 hour drive on a 4WD, quite bumpy in the back (I would not recommend the trip for people with back or disc problems. You will finally stop your drive at a river. Get ready to cross the river where you might get wet. Then you hike up the mountain along the river for around 90 minutes until you reach the waterfall. You cross the small river several times and you climb over rocks. It might be slippery. We went up with our two boys, 6 and 5, and they were fine and enjoyed it.
It is beautiful up there, although we didn't have a rainbow because it was a cloudy day. So we definitely have to go back!
Bring waterproof shoes. Local guides come with flip flops, but I couldn't manage. Hiking shoes might be too much as you have to take them off several times.
Don't forget mosquito repellent.

“Soaking in the glorious creation of God”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2013

The whole adventure was great. Plus good to have a good tour guide cum 4x4 driver. We left about 6:45AM, after staying overnight in a local inn. (RM150 per night for a room that can fit 8 people). The journey half way was great and good places for photography. After 1 hour 15min, we started to trek in. We walked for about 1 +hour (with young children) and reached the falls right before 9:30AM.
The rainbow appeared nicely above the pool below the falls. If you go nearer, you can see a circular rainbow forming around where you are standing. Magnificent experience indeed.
The clouds would sometimes block the sun, and need to wait for the rainbow to reappear. While waiting, good to have a nice dip in the pool.
As usual, served a cup noodle and Milo by tour guide.
Walking back to the trail, do take time to check out the fauna and flora too.
Yes would good again in the future, probably for camping.

“Magnificent view”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013 via mobile

Need to reach there at 6.30am..better to stay overnight at holiday inn. Travelling using jeep for 1hour 10minutes. The ride is better than any massage chair in the world and beware of those branches at the side of the muddy road...cross hills and river. Then, go on foot hiking to the waterfalls and the most important things is u need to go into river. Thus, wear those rubber shoes. At the top u are serve with milo and instant cup mee. U can't see the rainbows except...
