“A great place to unplug yourself”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

1) This is a must visit place in Cameron Highlands. There are a few plantations but the most scenic for me is the pantation before Tanah Rata.
2) The view of the tea plantation is breathtaking.
3) Make sure to have a nice hot tea here while savouring the weather and its beauty surroundings.
4) You can also take a walk here. Please do so or you will regret it.

“Nice view of tea plantation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2012 via mobile

No entrance fees to access tea plantation but of course not allowed to pluck the tea leaves. There are spacious parking space provided.
Ordered a glass of 'teh tarik' but been recommended by the cashier to order Masala Tea instead.
For locals, the price tag is quite pricy; RM3.50 per glass of teh tarik. The tea cup and the way the serve also not worth the price.
Overall, this is a nice place to enjoy scenaric view with accessible road.

“Nice but not guided”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

The tea plantation was wide and easy to note if you are exiting Simpang Pulai highway. The only withdrawal was there was no one to guide to the plantation. There were lots of flies and not that clean. The tea, bread with stuffing and the cakes are must try. Their flavored tea are in affordable price.

“Ridiculous”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2012 via mobile

Better head to Boh Plantation at Brinchang. Staff are bloody rude. You are charged RM2 for plain hot water. You cannot ask for hot refills for your pot of tea unlike Boh Plantation. You barely get a 2/3 cup of tea per order. You get charged for using their toilets. Ridiculous!

“Up a hill with”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 8, 2012

It was cloudy and therefore I was able to see 360 degrees of, mainly, cloud.
We shared a view point with many other tourists cramped into an observation tower and flanked by antennae for mobile phones, satellite boosts etc.

This tour is not for those with vertigo or who are unable to climb stairs. The observation tour is up three steep and exposed flights of stairs!

On a day without clouds I can imagine that the view is fantastic.

I would recommend the drive up to the observation tower as a tour in its own right, with a request to stop often on the return journey to take fabulous photos of the jungle scenery.
