The hotel looks into the view of the sea and i located in the main market area....for those who want to be in the city center, If you are looking to be closer to the beach...then this is not the hotel for you to opt for. The hotel is nice, while, food options are a bit limited. But, being in the market area, you can walk across to it.

This was a great experience, nice and clean rooms and good service. Overall, a good experience.

My husband had booked the honeymoon package at this hotel to surprise me for our anniversary celebration. We have been given a honeymoon suite and to add to the package, a candle light dinner by the poolside on the second night we were there. The overall service and the cleanliness of the room were very good and above average. My frustration only for the candle light dinner that was supposed to be at the poolside. They had changed the venue last minute; ie instead of the dinner should be by the poolside, it ended up at the hotel restaurant with others having buffet dinner. Yes, they did put our table secluded from others, but still we didn't find it romantic because we can see a lot of people having their buffet dinner and the people also stared at us as if 'what were we doing there'.... I asked the waiter why don't they stick to the original plan ie having the candle light dinner by the poolside. She said she didn't know why and probably because of the weather. I doubted that because that night the weather was very nice with a clear sky where it should be perfect for a candle light dinner with a starry sky!!

By looking at their preparation for the dinner, I think maybe they didn't want to have difficulties in order to transport the food to the poolside and hence they asked us to have the dinner only at the restaurant. Or probably because we are only a local people, so it shouldn't be a problem to change the venue last minute... I didn't know which one of my guess was true, but I was really frustrated with the hotel. I felt like being cheated by the package which was not wonderful at all.

I preferred to have my honeymoon at the cenang's area or a hotel by the seaside because of the view, but my husband had booked this package so I had to put up with this. The only thing that I was looking forward to was the candle light dinner by the poolside, but the hotel management had changed the venue last minute. I was frustrated. My next trip to Langkawi, I probably won't stay at this hotel.
