I can only endorse what previous reviewers have said. Can there be a more relaxing resort: laid- back but with the highest standards of service and friendliness. OK, as other guests have said, the rooms are getting rather tired, but this is being attended to. The Sunset pool is bliss - never before have we swam while being 'supervised' by a sea-eagle perched in a nearby tree!
The restaurants are excellent, although the Sands would benefit from a bit more 'atmosphere' in the evening. We stayed for a week (would probably make it ten days next time) and, to be honest, towards the end of our stay we knew the menu by heart. Could there be a couple of 'specials' each day (plats du jour) to introduce a little variety? Oh, and how about a notice (in English, bahasa Malaysia, and Japanese) warning guests NOT to pester the monitor lizards, so that his descendants don't suffer the same fate as 'Jack'!!
Congratulations to Enzo and all his staff
