“Horrible. ...(cannot find a better word than horrible)”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013 via mobile

1. When I stopped in front of the restaurant, the waiter dont even bother to direct us to the car park.
2. When we entered the restsurant, the waiter dont even bother to greet us.
3. When we ordered the food, the waitress keep on promoting their seafood. Hint to us their specialty is seafood. They only do normal dishes during lunch.
4. When the waiter ordered drinks from us, the face is more sour than sour grape.
5. Food tasteless (chef forget to put salt).

“good reastaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2013

We stopped on a drive past as it was in the brochure and were pleased with what we ate. The tiger prawns were amazingly good and so large. The rice dishes were excellent. Reasonably priced so overall a good visit.

“The most terrible place not only in Langkawi but in all Malaysia!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 26, 2013

We traveled 3 weeks in all Malaysia and ware amazed by the Malaysian food and people. First time I experience so horrible food and service! The staff hardly speaks English, the restaurant is dirty, the food sucks! But the worst was they tried to rob us! The lady boss brings the customers to a sort of aquarium with some lobsters, prawns and crabs. In poor English she is explaining that you can order some and they will be prepared with garlics, chili or onions. The menu is indicating prices from 15 to 30 r. per 100 gr. live weight. The gap is not clear on what is based! After long waiting the delivered the crabs and the prawns cooked with the shells in sauce - no special cutlery to break the shells, nothing - pure mess! Just uneatable! We ordered 3 prawns, 2 small crabs and fired rice for 45 euros - 60 USD! First we ware presented a bill for 70 r. (apr. 17 euros) and after we payed it, they asked for more 100 r. !!! They gave us a bill with a false date - we visited the place at 25 of fev. 2013, but at the bill the date is 15 of feb.! I requested to speak to the manager, but everybody disappeared, incl. the waiters!

“Not as bad as made out to be”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2013

I've read a few reviews of this place and they weren't very good. I stopped there while driving past one day and had lunch there.
The menu had prawns cooked with dry red chillies (like a Kung Pao). I asked if they'd substitute the normal prawns with a Mantis Prawn and they did. They picked out a big one from the tank and cooked it as I'd asked and served it with steamed rice. It was very nice, expensive but very nice. The other dish I tried was disappointing.
