“Great place to chill before heading to Legoland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 24, 2012

It was crowded when we checked-in and of the two suites booked, it took quite a while to get our second suite. We noted the crowd during check-in was rather heavy but as we arrived late in the evening, it was a surprise to hear the room still not ready for us. The size of the room was great. It was very clean and comfortable. However, note that one of the room in the 3-room suite does not have a window and it may caused discomfort for some. It will be better if we have the facility to prepare food in the room as we were travelling as a family unit with children.

The swimming pools at the sports centre are not the cleanest one but it is probably due to the large crowd that day.

There are many dining options within the resort not counting those if you drive out.

Many guests are heading to and from Legoland. The staff can share a simple map with you as some older GPS may not be so helpful.

Overrall, we feel we can come here to chill, even if Legoland is part of the journey.

Only stayed one night. As we are a family of 5, was impressed with the choice of apartments that could fit us all in. We had a 2 bed apartment which was very spacious, not that comfortable though and one of the rooms was more like a cupboard, no windows. It was ok for one night and close proximity to Singapore and legoland (where we had been for the day). The service though was terrible. We had some food in the cafe which took ages, needed to keep chasing up and then, 30 mins later they tell you that they haven't got what you ordered!!! Just ridiculous. Breakfast was like a warzone, they simply cannot handle a full house. Why have so many rooms if you can't handle the place when it's busy? Plus, a nice dead bird lying around in the fountain. Oh yeah, and we ordered an extra bed which didn't turn up, I called reception and they said it would come at 6pm. By 7:30pm when the kids needed to collapse into bed I called again and then gave up, went to the back of house area and took a bed myself and wheeled it to our room. Self service ...... You get what you pay for I suppose. Wouldn't stay here again unless I just needed a bed for the night on the way to somewhere else.

We held a wedding lunch at the Kayangan Suites at Pulai Springs recently.

Throughout the whole process the staff were professional, emphatetic to our needs an showed an extremely high level of care. The event was smooth without hiccups and we think it was down to the people working on it. We can't thank the team at Pulai Springs enough for this.

The grounds are grand and well maintained, the rooms spacious and is good value for money.

We are very pleased with the service we've received and cannot recommend Pulai Springs enough as an event destination.

One night stay in the hotel after visiting legoland. Easy to find on the GPS and hotel is not crowded. Did not encounter bad service and room was clean and got clean towels and soap. Got one of the bigger room suite on the higher floors.

Room Tip: If possible, get the bigger rooms.

We were there for one night, 12-12-12, and we can sincerely attest to all that despite complaints by earlier visitors and promises made by Tengku the GM, we still experienced the same problems during our brief stay, no towels at all , no bathing soaps , no room service, tired room, poor whatever, despite checking in the lugagge at 11 am then Legoland and coming back at 9pm!. Breakfast staff hounding us about kids need to pay for breakfast despite Legoland package, . Front desk staff was OK. To be avoided at all cost. They had the cheek to charge 5 stars rates for the room!. Shame on you!.

The resort is old. As you see the photos shown in Tripadvisor, you can tell the photos are old.
Stayed there a few days for Legoland & Hello Kitty town. The resort very old, room was dusty, old torn towel and sometime need to call the housekeep to provide new towel. Bad wifi signal, saw some guests stand outside the room just to get signal. The wifi access port is just outside the room.
When I book online 21 days adv, no option to include breakfast. When check-in, the staff asked me to pay normal breakfast rate. After talk to the manager, he give me discounted rate. When you book online, you will see book 21 days adv no breakfast but some other days with breakfast. that is why I ask the manager and he gave me discounted rate.
As for the breakfast, nothing great. If you dont want to drive out to eat, that is the only choice.

Stayed here for two nights as the hotels near Legoland and Puteri Harbour were not ready yet. Set our expectations real low after reading all the reviews about this hotel on tripadvisor. We were pleasantly surprised by the beautiful grounds. We took a two bedroom suite (room 0521) for our family of two adults and two children. The room was relatively clean, but smelled musty. Bed and bath linen were VERY old and threadbare. Only bath towels were standard issue and we had to request for hand towels which came terribly mismatched and frayed. The aircon in the main bedroom rattled intermittently, but luckily the unit in our kids' room was quite silent. Breakfast was in a very crowded dining hall and quality of food left much to be desired (we ended up only eating toast and eggs as we did not want to risk getting indigestion from the dubious looking cooked dishes). This place has lots of potential if only the management will put more heart into it. We will like to commend two staff who were excellent ambassadors though: Ms Jayasutha from Reservations and Mr Yeoh our hotel transport driver.
