“A good room (except the bathroom); expect an apartment-style experience rather than a hotel/resort.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2014

The room was pleasantly furnished and pretty big for a double. NIce beds and strong aircon too. However, the shower and toilet were really basic, with a shower curtain that didn't really manage to prevent the shower from spilling over to the main bathroom. I had a good view of the golf course but the place was not near any kind of major shopping/food places. Wifi is irregular and not reliable - certain rooms had better reception than others.

First two time check in, I walk in and pay RM200+ for a double studio room.
than third time i book online and it is cheaper booking online.( about RM20 cheaper).
The room is very big, but the floor is oily! (didn't know why!)
I didn't go to breakfast because i'm vegetarian, for breakfast just make maggi mee in the room with some fresh vegetable added into the maggi mee (brought along when check in)
there is a big vegetarian restaurant in nearby permas town (for lunch and dinner)

Later find out that this hotel is under same company as Hotel S Bee, Tebrau CT hotel, Nusa CT hotel(Gelang patah) and Hotel Suan Bee(Tmn Sutera).

I am not going to check in this hotel anymore.

All the rooms come with balcony and overlooking either city view or river view. The studio apartment is spacious and sufficient for my family of 4. My teenage son slept on the leather couch as he fell asleep after watching the World cup match from AstroSport channel and 3 of us slept on the King bed. Drove here and reached the hotel within 20 minutes from the Customs. It is better to drive here with own vehicle as the nearest Aeon Permas Jaya Mall is about slightly less than 10 mins drive but not within walking distance. Maybe the hotel should consider having a shuttle service to drop and pick up guests from city centre.
The pool is not too clean and water is cloudy. We are satisfied overall as the rate is reasonable. Wifi available in the room.

I chose this hotel as it is on the outskirts of Johore Bahru and nearer to northeast of Johore Bahru where I was travelling to after a night's stay. The rooms are designed more like serviced apartments: large rooms, spartanly comfortable but not posh at all. Rooms are good for families: there is much space for kids. The views from the balcony are not bad. The swimming pool is nicely designed and you get a good view from the pool. However it is poorly maintained and is filthy. It would have been nice if you have better facilities around the pool such as cafe and deck chairs. The breakfast is plentiful but very Malaysian in palate and quality. This is not a place to stay for a posh relaxing holiday but is truly value for money given the room charges.

Stayed in a studio apartment. Big, clean, newish rooms.
Had a balcony with nice view of golf course and river.
Beds, pillow, showers all okay.
Convenient from JB City Centre, Shops (...if you drive).
Decent restaurant on 9th floor.
Infinity pool on 9th floor.
Many conference rooms (gaudy carpet and wall paper).
Economical.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. The design of the apartment is nice and spacious with an ensuite room, 2 other rooms, 1 common bathroom. The location of the hotel from the causeway is very near. If there's no traffic jam it takes only 20 mins. Behind Petronas there are a row of shops and restaurants. If you come out of the hotel they are located on the left and it's less than 10mins walk. The kitchenette is equipped with microwave and kettle but there's no cutlery, wash cloth or washing liquid. The bar fridge leaked, the common toilet flooded on our first day. Called maintenance but didn't turn up until last day. After using once, encountered the same flooding problem again. Give up. The breakfast was sumptuous but on the 3rd morning the baked beans tasted sour and the nasi lemak chilli also sour. Wonder if it's meant to be that taste.

You definitely need to drive to the hotel.

Pricing is definitely value for money when compared to hotels near JB city.

Quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of JB city.

Spacious and clean room.

Nice place to bring a small family to relax.

Breakfast menu is on par with some of the more 4* popular hotels in JB.

Room service response time needs to improve.
