If you like staying at places that are popular with groups that get up early and make lots of noise, than this is the place for you. The first night of our stay, a group of Germans was also at the hotel. The fact that there is almost no insulation, means that you can hear everything from the other rooms and in the hall. When they left at the crack of dawn, they were not quiet Lao, not much was left at breakfast.
The second night, the staff decide dot have a party and were in the lobby drinking until 2am. Also the receptionist is far from helpful or even friendly for that matter.
There are a a lot of nicer options along the beach, so try them if you are visiting Byblos. It is an easy walk into the town from the hotel and it is a great place to see..
