The atmosphere is nice, the food so so. I expected more, because I am a fan of Uzbek cuisine which is quite a refreshment from the bland Kazakh food, but my taste buds remained anything but thrilled.
The garden is beautiful and indoors too, very lively, with Uzbek traditional arts and crafts. A little on the pricey side, but then again, all Almaty restaurants are, except the local ashanas. On weekends there is live band that plays oriental music, it adds to the overall experience. But chances are there will be a wedding planned that blocks the restaurant for external visitors, so check in advance.
Staff speak English, which is also a great positive surprise.
