The hotel is part of a huge convention centre complex and can be busy during week ends when a procession of weddings is being held. We stayed in a grande deluxe room which was very large and had a full range of amenities with a very large bathroom. The category room is on a higher floor with spectacular ocean views. This category of room also includes complimentary access to the onsen facility which for me as someone who enjoys onsens is well worth the extra cost. The rate included breakfast which included a vast array of both Western and Japanese selections and again was worth the extra cost. The hotel is quite isolated sitting amongst a highly ranked golf course and forest of trees and convenient eating choices are limited to the seven or so hotel restaurants. We were there is late October and any restaurants were full so recommend you book ahead. The hotel promotes itself as a resort and the resort includes all the facilities expected of a resort. If you want to stay in Miyazaki proper this hotel is probably not for you, taxi fare into the main town is around 2500-3000 yen but a local bus service is available.
