“Bad Hotel Customer.service”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2013

Please never stay.at this hotel. The customer service at this hotel really is very bad that I had to make a change and move my whole entire family to another hotel. The front of house staff was very dishonest and very rude. WILL NEVER STAY OR RECOMEND THIS TO ANYONE.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed October 19, 2013

I have stayed in alot of "business" hotels in this country over the years, but this one was sorely disappointing. On the surface this looks like a great value hotel considering the price of the rooms. It looks clean, it seems to have been recently refurbished, and the staff are polite. Also, it had a really luxurious hot spring bath which I wish I'd visited more than just the once. But this hotel does not get the basics right. I complained about my first room and was moved, but the second was just as bad. The most disturbing thing was that, for some inexplicable reason, they had removed the handles on the windows of the all rooms on one side of the hotel, so that they couldn't be opened. There seemed to be a problem with the drains when I was there because there was a bad smell in the bathroom of both the rooms I saw. Both rooms were so small (even by Japanese standards) that there was nowhere to put my suitcase where I wouldn't have to step over it. There was also no hand soap in the bathroom. The breakfast was also disappointing. They claimed to have mixed Western/Japanese buffet breakfast, but the "Western" part of the breakfast amounted to bread with no butter, and instant coffee from a machine. Finally the hotel is quite a long walk from both the train station and the town centre. The walk into town is via a road in a not-so-salubrious part of town which is basically deserted at night, and as a lone female traveller I didn't feel safe. Perhaps I was just unlucky, but I was so disappointed with this place that I cut short my stay by one night.

Room Tip: For solo female travellers - choose a room in the women-only corridor on the 2nd floor

The hotel is not far from the tram station which is about 4 mins walking distance. Service is always good and the room is cozy. the only problem is the air-conditionor in my room, it is either too cold (23'C) or too hot (24'C) which is very wired, i am not sure if this happen to the whole hotel building or just my room. Breakfast is nice, with curry and fish fillet selection.
p.s. you can walk to the bus central terminal in 15 mins.

I am impressed that there is a air purifier in the room.^_^

Stayed here with my wife during Golden Week. At 6300yen for a double room, including an amazing breakfast buffet, and onsen bath, what else could you want? For the price, it's hard to beat. The one downside is the location, as it's a bit out of the town centre (as many Superhotels seem to be).
