We used this hotel as a base to explore other cities in Kyushu area. The hotel is a short cab ride from the Fukuoka airport and within 3 mins walk to the JR Hakata Station. The area was bustling with loads of food and shopping options. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there are so many food options around, such as Starbucks and Mos Burger (Japanese chain).

The hotel itself is spotless, modern and clean, and the wifi works well. the staff were very friendly and helpful in advising us where and how to go to various places as well.

A highly recommended value-for-money hotel!

Really love this hotel.

Positives:
- Within 3 mins walk to JR Hakata Station, Bullet Train entrance, subway as well as bus terminal.
- Within 5 mins walk to shopping centres, noodle bars plaza and a whole lot of other restarurants, 100 yen shop and have one Family Mart next to it and another one opposite the road.
- Very reasonably priced.
- Staffs are friendly, helpful and at least 1 staff at reception can speak good English.
- Very high speed free WIFI in all rooms.
- Spacious and clean room.
- Have coin operated laundry.
- We used this hotel as our base hotel and travelled and stayed in other places in Kyushu. The staffs in this hotel is happy to keep our luggages with them when we travelled to other places.

Negative:
- The only downside of this hotel is that the bed is a little bit hard for me. It may be fine for others though.

It was a perfect stay for a night's sleep next to Hakata Station. Modern, clean, and convenient. Tons of good eats and shopping near hotel. Hotel breakfast buffet was interesting but very tasteful! We had a few hours to spare the next morning before we took off so we wandered thru the city to check out all the ancient temples and parks (all within walking distance which the front desk staff drew out for us with a time-line). It was a very short but memorable stay.

This is a fairly large western-style hotel adjacent to the Hakata Station. Very nice room, good rate, no problems with the internet. The "western" part of the breakfast was adequate. The Japanese part of the breakfast was more ambitious.

Have stayed at many hotels around Hakata Station , and this was by far one of the worst . One can use the elevator only if one slides the room card in front of a sensor of some sort by the elevator door which can be a pain as it always doesn't work very well . Room was smaller than others I've stayed in for the same price and was DARK even with all the room lights on . Carpets were not cleaned very well . One could hear doors slam and people milling about outside in the hallway all night . I'd never stay here again despite its convenient location and cheap price.

It's easy to find this hotel which is just beside the Hakata Railway Station. Following the access map on the hotel's website, it's only 1 - 2 minutes walk from the railway station. There are 3 Hakata Green Hotel around the station and this "Annex" is the most modern one. Green Hotel 1 seems to be under decoration and 2 looks a lit bit old from the outside.

Compared to Japanese standard, the room is spacious. We have a twin room and we still have space to put our 2 big cases (in many Japaneses hotels, it's hard to find a space to put the luggage...). The room is equipped with air moisture / fresh machine, hot water kettle, tea, coffee, flat TV. You can also find vendor machine and laundry on some floor of the hotel.

The hotel staffs speak English and offer map and directions to major spots of Fukuoka. Didn't try the breakfast of the hotel but there's a Family Mart just outside the hotel which offers a lot of choises. A lot of restaurants and snacks can also be found in and around the Hakata Railway station.

It's a nice hotel and good for those who are travelling to / from Hakata by train.
