In order to be fair, the location is very good if you are in Yokohama for Business with EPC Clients. Actually you are next to the major one. Form a price perspective very pricey and the expectations are high by default.
Checked in in the hotel at 21.30 and after a shower and checking of mails wanted to have some food. Called at 22.30 and in room dining was closed. Fair enough. Maybe is the culture I assumed. Checked for complimentary water and none was provided. A bottle of still water will cost you 420 JPY . the cherry on the cake which I din't complain at the time was next morning. Wake up at 10.00 and lost breakfast. wanted to make a coffee but no coffee was provided either. only two different type of tea. Consequently a double espresso 800 JPY.
Coming back to hotel after dinner the coffee trays are still on the table and the bed linens have some brown mark. Consequently a complain had to be made. Overall for 300 USD and 5 star hotel I would except something better and most importantly the espresso to be espresso not black coffee!

I stayed briefly in this hotel. Everything was great except that the tv channels are very limited. No wowow channels.. and no Dlife channel as well. Too bad if you are going to spend time in the room. However, access to minatomirai station is easy.. as well as the theme park Cosmoworld. I would recommend this hotel for shorter stays.

I stay in Minatomirai several times a year and decided to try Pan Pacific for the first time. I was able to book a balcony room for JPY 8000 ($100 USD), which I thougt was a steal. Granted, I stayed on a Sunday so that may explain the low price.

I went there not expecting much but the room was much larger than I expected and the bathroom was quite spacious. It had a separate shower and a wonderful bath tub -- pretty luxurious and very relaxing. I'm not sure if all the rooms are set up this way but I was really happy with the room.

There are two chairs and a table out on the balcony if you want to sit out there and drink coffee but be forewarned -- the space is TINY. I find it funny that they call it the "balcony room" as if to put emphasis on this feature but it's really not much of a feature.

The hotel staff was exteremely polite and allowed us to check in an hour earlier. Also, another great thing about this hotel is that it is connected to Queen's Square and Landmark Tower so even if it's raining, you can get around without an umbrella. There is a Cosmo World (a small amusement park...more like a local fair in the states) across the way if you want to entertain children. There's lots of shopping; both clothing and anime-type shops. And last but not least, foods galore. There are plenty of places to eat so I would recommend venturing out of the hotel for meals. The restaraunt floor at Collette Mare by the Sakuragicho train station has a good variety but super crowded on weekends. If you want some western sweets, go to World Porters and try the doughnut hole at Leonards too!

the rooms are very big and very clean, great location, very quite hotel considering location and size. lots of restaurants and cafes to choose from. great views over Yokohama bay area. part of the landmark building which is one of the tallest buildings in japan, stayed here on business and will be returning.
