Description: Open only 8 weeks during the Maple syrup run, they serve up incredible buckwheat pancakes, locally made sausage patties and maple syrup fresh from the trees. Reasonably priced, can't be beat. An upstate NY tradition.

“Real Maple Syrup Pancake Heaven! A must go to!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2013

Reviews will tell you its a great experience but you will have to travel into the country to find it. Hope your GPS can find it...or just follow the cars. A really great place to enjoy a pancake breakfast with an enthusiastic customer following. Easy 2 thumbs up!!! "Pass the maple syrup please" RRygiel

“Best Buckwheat Pancakes Ever! & Great Maple Syrup!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 6, 2013

After hearing about this place from family, & hearing that it's only open 2 months of the year (during maple sugaring/syruping season), I knew I had to go. Since it was a slight detour on the way to my final destination, I stopped to eat. The location is in the middle of nowhere, & I couldn't input the address on my GPS; however, I put in an address that was near enough. The restaurant is much larger than it looks from the outside, and it is obvious it has been expanded numerous times over the years. It is definitely a family/country style place. Even at 1200 on a Tuesday, there was a line to get in. I was seated almost immediately, as I said I would sit at the counter - this was quite entertaining, as I was able to watch all the pancakes being made - it is like a pancake factory! :)
The pancakes (buckwheat) are GREAT! The maple syrup, which is made on the premises, is delicious! For a special treat, this is a nice drive (when the weather is good), & the all you can eat pancakes are worth it!

“So many pancakes!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 21, 2013

I was impressed that so many people travel from far distances to get to the Maple Tree Inn every spring. The syrup is good, but not really any different from fresh maple syrup you can get from anywhere else. The history and charm as well as the value (about $8 for all you can eat pancakes) are the Maple Tree Inn's defining characteristics.

“All you can eat pandcakes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

My girlfriend has introduced me to the Maple Tree Inn. They are only open seasonally and make their own maple syrup. You get all you can eat pancakes. The sausage is made locally and is decent, some times a little more flavorful then others. The place is always packed and it is first come first serve. It is not uncommon to have a line waiting outside in the winter/early spring when they are open during maple season.

Don't forget the Maple milkshake.
