This hotel could not have been more accommodating for children, which in turn makes it wonderful for the adults. We had a room with 2 large single beds, a pull out trundle and a sleeping alcove and this was more than adequate to suit our needs. It was also sizable enough to accommodate us AND our mountain of ski gear without us feeling cramped. The balcony was huge as well, although far too cold outside for us to use - it would be wonderful in warmer months. The other thing I find surprising about the two Disney hotels we have stayed at is how quiet they are. Obviously they cater to children and families and I had expected the rooms to be very noisy from passing traffic but once the door is closed, barely an outside sound is heard!! The staff here are fabulous - friendly and attentive to every need. It was great being so close to the park (the guest access helps avoid the massive queues to get in) and with the train station being so close, very easy to get out and explore the rest of Tokyo. The only downfall is that there is no wifi at all in the hotel.

We're big Disney fans (Nerds) and have stayed at most of the WDW "deluxe" resorts. Tokyo Disney Hotel is by far the best Disney property we've ever visited! It's gorgeous and very well maintained. Our alcove room was spacious enough for a family of 4 and we loved the extra touches. Proximity to Disneyland was great. The breakfast buffet had lots of western & eastern options and we had a fridge in our room for drinks and snacks.
Beware that check in is LATE. We weren't able to check in until 4pm which was a huge pain since we were traveling with 2 little kids who desperately wanted to nap. Also there is no free wifi. We got 24 hours of LAN wifi but after that we would have been charged.
Overall a great stay!

i have been in Orlando, Paris and now here... by far the best Disney hotel i have been.

the rooms are very big, we got a Peter Pan's room and there is plenty of space for 3. the hotel is wonderful, the beds are good, amenities are great, the pool is a treat after a very warm day. the convenience to be just at the front gate... priceless..

the only point that could be better, it is regarding the 15 minutes early entrance int he park... for example in Paris we got 2 hours park before general admission, in Orlando it is 1 hour.. so 15 minutes sounds quite short considering that the attractions will start only at 8:30

overall the experience was great.

This hotel by far is one of the grandest places I have ever been. Well furnished to quality service which are spot on! Clean and stylish rooms, an impressive view. Sure made me feel like a king and undoubtedly made my Tokyo Disneyland experience with the company of good friends an unforgettable one.

Room Tip: All rooms with views should be of your choice of consideration:)

Wow... Just wow.

I'm still all warm and fuzzy on the inside a day after our magical stay at The Disneyland Hotel.

My sisters and I could not wipe the smiles off the entire walk to the hotel, even though we were sore from our heavy backpacks, as soon as we saw the hotel it was like (excuse my language) HOLY CRAP.. WE ARE STAYING HERE!

I don't have all day to write everything that was amazing, but honestly.. Everything was amazing. The wallpaper, picture frames, lights, lifts ( with Mickey) carpets, ice room- I've been to some fancy places, but this tops it.

And.. Then we got to our room, with the loveliest guy who showed us around and made sure we knew where to go and how to work everything in the room.

We stayed in the Peter Pan Room. OMG. The walls and even the timber on the bed and furniture had been carved Peter Pan themed. In our bathroom was a huge shower room, and separate toilet, with a vanity that displayed complimentary Disney hotel toiletries- I made sure I took those!

All up though, this is one of my favourite things I have ever done, as a 24 year old, Disneyland and the hotel could not have been better, I don't think it matters your age.

The hotel is so close to Disneyland which is great.

I'd like to thank the beautiful staff who helped us on our stay, our smiles would not have been so bright without you.

To anyone reading this review, if you have the money- staying here is a must.

This is an experience not just a hotel. We celebrated our daughter's 8th birthday here and the little touches the staff made for her were truly fantastic. She will never forget getting a phone voice message from Mickey wishing her happy birthday. It is exceedingly comfortable, welcoming and great place for a family holiday. Make sure you use the early entry tickets you get as a guest to meet the characters with only a small number of people in the park.

Room Tip: Alcove room is a treat for a little one to sleep in the 'princess bed'.
