“A transit hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 23, 2014

Convenient for catching the next day early flight. Shuttle bus is handy and about 20 minutes to airport. Our room is a twin room. It is big and clean. The restaurant downstairs is ok. We got two choices, buffet or choose from menu. We chose menu at the end because the buffet was with very limited selection. Food is ordinary, taste ok. Overall, its not bad for a transit hotel

Let's start by saying it is a transit hotel. This is not a typical Crowne Plaza. Once we have that out of the way, I can begin.
1) Shuttle to/from the airport except in the morning runs infrequently. After a 15 hour flight from DC I was unwilling to wait another hour for the shuttle so took a cab. 11,000 yen. Fair deal for another hour of my time. Shuttle back for my early flight on to Yangon was excellent. Three times an hour I believe 7am to 11am.
2) Breakfast buffet was excellent. Food was hot, good selection of "continental", "American" and "Asian" cuisine. 25,000 yen all in. Tad pricey but it is a hotel so expected. I'd do it again as the food really was quite well prepared.
3) Rooms were tiny, as expected, but all the normal items were there: desk, "wired" internet (NO WIRELESS in rooms), toiletries, etc. Very functional except for wireless.
4) Wireless was only in the hotel lobby, and there very slow. However the wired connection in the room was very, very fast. They did provide cords but didn't help with my skype on iPad.
5) Concierge recommended a bus service that leaves the airport every 20 minutes and arrives Tokyo Station within 80 minutes. 1,000 yen. If you come back at night (I believe hourly starting at18:30 it stops by most of the major transit hotels). Excellent side trip to spend two hours downtown out of a plane and out of a hotel. Well worth it. Just be warned return trip queue up early as the lines get long as people coming to hotels for early morning flights.
6) Very efficient check in and check out. Staff remarkable.

Room Tip: I think they are all identical except for facing road or not facing road.

Spent one night here due to a cancelled flight situation. The room is fine. Bus services to the airport are efficient. Bus from downtown Tokyo to this hotel runs frequent and costs only USD10 for an 80 minutes ride. Outstanding lunch buffet in the 1st floor hotel restaurant.

Chose this hotel for a transit stop in Tokyo, Narita. Free shuttle bus arrived on time, though the mid-day frequency could be better. Room was clean and functional, although obviously very dated and tired. Although the hotel faces a highway, the room was quiet; however, the drapes let in some light at night, which was a little disturbing. The hotel offers free Internet at the lobby, but not in the room; this would have been a problem, had it not been for the fact that I was staying on a weekend night.

What I like:
-Staff had a good command of English.
-Quick check-in/check-out.
-Complimentary Wi-Fi for IHG Reward members.
-Complimentary shuttle to/from Narita airport (15-30 minutes each way).
-Window in the room opens so you can get fresh air.
-Air conditioning was strong.
-Great water pressure in the shower.
-Bed was comfortable.
-Room was clean.

Just okay:
-The breakfast buffet was $2500JPN and did not have too much variety (granted, this is not a five-star hotel in the heart of the city).
-Bathroom was dingy (not enough light… a refurbishment wouldn’t hurt either).
-Variety of TV channels.

What made me sad:
-The overall décor of the hotel was just bland and not very exciting. Again, I get it, this is just an airport hotel but come on… a nicer looking hotel wouldn’t hurt, right?

My overall rating of this property is predicated on how much I paid for one night (roughly $80 USD). I wouldn’t mind staying here again if I needed to transit overnight through Japan. For stays longer than one night, try staying at a hotel more central to Tokyo.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the airport if you like to watch planes arriving and departing.

This hotel is very convenient to the Narita airport. It provides shuttle service to the airport and to a nearby metro station and mall. The lobby is very nicely appointed. The hotel staff are first rate. The room looks a bit old and tired but everything works. I was disappointed that they didn't have a business center and I had to trouble the front desk to print out boarding passes for the trip home. The staff was gracious and, after some hangups, I was able to get my boarding passes printed.

On a recent trip to Japan, my grand daughter had a minor accident in the room at this hotel in Narita. Lots of blood and tears, and a trip to the hospital was arranged. One of the managers went with my daughter and baby to the local hospital to act as an interpreter and also paid the initial bill of 30,000 yen as we had just arrived. This was outstanding service and we were very happy with the overall stay. PS bubbie is fine :)

Room Tip: Ask for non-smoking it that's your thing.
