“I loved this hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 3, 2013

My Hotel in Aqaba is such a special place. The location is perfect! You are walking distance to everything, even the beach. It is also easy to take a shuttle and pay a small fee to go to one of the resorts on the Red Sea and enjoy those beaches. Many good not exspensive restaurants to walk to. The area has charm with many camels walking on the streets with their owners. There is grocery stores around the corner. The staff are all wonderful and speak good English. The roof top pool was very clean and a nice place to relax with great views of the ocean. I was able to get a good nights sleep. I like that the room had tile floors with no carpet. That makes a much cleaner living space in a hotel room. I was able to even watch CNN. Overall my room was very clean and the bed comfortable. I must also mention the amazing breakfast! So many choices to choose from. Even fresh eggs made how you like them right in front of you. My Hotel is truly a gem! I will one day come back. Thank you My Hotel, from Nicole Stein Victora BC

Clean, big rooms, nice staff, good location.
Cleaners made amazing art from towels every day.
Good breakfast, you can choose ingredients in your omelette, and then “ omelette-man” bake it. Small pool at rooftop.
No beach nearby.

The room was large and very comfortable. The breakfast was ok, and the staff were friendly. Nice location. The small swimming pool on the roof was deserted both times I went for a dip, and enjoyed having the place to myself. I would definitely recommend this hotel for travelers who don't require the luxury of one of the fancy large hotels.

Recently stayed for 2 nights and have to say the hotel was excellent. Modern, excellent showers, TV and air con with roof top pool which although small has fantastic views of the city and the Red Sea. Really good breakfast and all staff were friendly and welcoming. Situated right in town centre also. Only downside was that wifi was not free and not very fast but it's a minor problem....

We choose My Hotel in Aqaba due to the low price. But even so we got a really good week here and the staff is wonderfull. Ask them for anything and they will help you in any way they can. We got a upgrade from standard to suite for 70 JD for a week, and the balcony was used every evening to wach the night life in front of the hotel. So if you need the warm and charming sens of the arabic world then Jordan, Aqaba and My Hotel is a good choice. There are better hotels in Aqaba, they cost much more and you are not in the middle of the city, wich we prefer

Room Tip: 401 or 501 is suites and have balcony. Plz be aware it is a city hotel and the horns and music from...

I stayed in this hotel for like 3 days and it was very nice, the people at the reception desk do speak english. The rooms are big and clean and the beds are comfy. There also is a mini bar and fridge in your room. On the roof of this hotel is a very nice swimmingpool which you can use and you will have a very nice view to the 'aqaba skyline' The breakfast could be improved a little bit more but everything you need is there. Good they are in contact with other hotels and beachclubs so it is possible to go to a private beach, and est. 5 minute walk to the aqaba center where are very nice shops :)

We looked at several hotels in person in the area before settling on this hotel. The receptionist was friendly and immediately offered us a competitive rate.

The room was modern, spacious and clean. This must have been the only hotel we stayed at in Jordan where everything worked in the room (especially the air-con which was quiet and powerful.)

There's a nice sun deck and small pool on the roof. Although the pool was not heated and was a little chilly in March. A good buffet breakfast was included. All the staff were polite and helpful.

The only cons were:

WiFi internet access was chargeable
The hotel, like many in Jordan, does not serve alcohol (but there's an off-licence right next door)
