“Well priced hotel with excellent location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 9, 2012

My friend and I stayed in the Raed for two nights and it worked out ideally for us. We didn't spend much time in the hotel, as we were out all day diving and in Petra. However the hotel was clean, very well located, breakfast was good and the room was well sized. The only complaint was that the shower was a bit weak and the water wasn't very warm. However when the temperature is 35 degrees then a lukewarm shower is a joy!

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Rae'd Hotel Suites (RHS) as part of a deal organised with Dive In Aqaba. We stayed for four nights and were impressed with the hotels cleanliness and quality of the room we had. The bedroom was large and had a good view of the Red Sea. The bathroom was perfectly adequate and the inclusion of a decent sized fridge was an added bonus. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, just what was needed prior to a days diving.

The only slight distraction was noise at night, however I think this would be apparent at all of the hotels in this area.

We would happily return and recommend it to friends.

Stayed 1 night as part of a tour through Jordan. we had a massive room, very clean and comfortable. internet access downstairs in the reception area. Lots of shops, restaurants, bars etc within an easy walk, also close to the beach and port area.

I didn't go there to stay at the hotel, so the fact that is is a lower class hotel didn't bother me, but it was above my expectations, but service from the staff, and I was a bit difficult changing rooms twice, but only met smiles and understanding. Lots of shops, bars and restaurants nearby, near to the Red Sea. Only draw back is that all smoking done in the lobby drifted up to the rooms - and I mean serious smoking went on down there.

I used Aqaba as my base for a week's stay in Jordan. I stayed at the Raed hotel as that was the cheapest alternative from the pacake tour operator, and I was positively surprised by the quality, cleanliness, spaciousness, and - above all - the very central location of the hotel. Staff was friendly, efficient and quite good at English. Only drawback was that the breakfast was not particularly interesting.

Room Tip: rooms xx2-xx5 have a good view of the Red Sea

Not a high class, but perfectly fine for our purpose. We only stayed for a week, but we got a very good impression of the hotel and the staff. The hotel menager and the rest of the staff were very nice and helpful and the rooms were very clean. Many restaurants and shops all around. We had a great time and we`ll stay there again for sure on our next trip to Aqaba!
