i travelled to livingstone last month and was fortunate to have a meeting with my clients at chanters lodge. from richard the owner right through to the proffesional chanter's girls we had a few hospitable time. now am planning on taking my family for a stay at chanters when we do another african holiday later this year.

Chanters Lodge thrives on service for its guests, from Richard Chanters, the owner, to his entire staff. They go out of the way to accomodate each guest, at least that was how we experienced them during our three day stay. The restaurant provides a varied menu of well prepared local and continental options at reasonable prices. Full service bar and wine selections. If there is a slight downside to this lodge, it is that the rooms are due for a facelift, but at the prices it is hard to complain.

Richard Chanter, the owner, was excellent. He was extremely welcoming and made sure that we had everything we needed. His team were also on their toes to make sure our stay was pleasant. If i return to Livingstone, Ill be going to Chanters again.

Looking for a relativiely small guesthouse, not expensive, in a green area, on footwalks distance from the city center, not far from the falls, we found after visiting some hotels this Chanter Lodge. It offered what whe were looking for.
Many times I have been thinking during this travel through Zambia and Congo: angry white man, go home. So it was a relief to meet Richard Chanter, with a warm and positive attitude concerning the Zambian people and concerned about how their lives.
A good place to be !!!!!
