“Truly Italian touch in Livingston”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2013

Olga's Corner was born from a cooperation project runned by an Italian NGO. First step was to build up the restaurant and later on was opened a small guesthouse (around 8 rooms). The restaurant offers a wide variety of Italian food: handmade pasta and bread, coffee, ice cream and pizza baked on the 'official' forno a legna. the dining spqce is cozy qnd well decorated. the rooms are clean, stilish and blended with an italian touch. Prices are very convenient, where a family room that can accomodate 4 people goes for 500 Kwacha (less then 100 US dollars) inclusive of breakfast. Olga's is situated in town nearby a small mall where you can shop groceries (shoprite), have a beer or sitting in a restaurant. Highly recomended for those who want to stay in a nice place, eating yummy food at a really convenient price. Not recommended for those who want to be in a luxury & turistic place! loved the place and willing to go back.

Room Tip: all rooms are on the same side and ground floor, dont think there is big difference among them

Have stayed at Olgas before and loved the room but the first time over we had a room near the road which turned out to be very noisy. This time I requested for a room towards the back of the property and they remembered and assigned the last room for us. It was quiet and peaceful.

The rooms are spacious, clean and have a lovely ambience. Excellent bathroom facilities. The restaurant being right there is an advantage for any meal and the restaurant is where one can find the best Italian food.

Staff are friendly and helpful. The location of Olgas is convenient and makes all of the little town that is Livingstone accessible.

I have travelled around Zambia and finding quality accommodation with paying 5 star rates is a rarity and I think Olgas gives just that.

Room Tip: Choose a room away from the road

First time visitors in Livingstone, found this place online. It is located next to a church right in town. 5km from airport and 10km from falls. A very short taxi ride either way.
From the time called to book until we departed the service was first class. Very friendly staff and mangers. They arranged taxi for pickup at the airport. When we arrived we were greeted with a simile. Our room was very clean, bathroom also very clean and modern - big plus. We were at Victoria falls for only 2 days - they were very happy to arrange for all our trips - elephant ride, helicopter ride and river cruse. Everything went great and on time.
They also have a great Italian restaurant, well priced top food. The Pizza and pasta are made fresh and traditionally. The Lasagna is a must try. Great place and restaurant.

We stayed at Olga's in November 2012 and had a fantastic time. The rooms are new, clean and comfortable. There is no air conditioning but there is a ceiling fan and the rooms are big and airy so it wasn't too hot. The value for money is amazing - for just over 50 USD for the room it includes a big breakfast, free wifi and teas and coffees. The location is great - 2 minute walk to a the shopping centre and taxi stand - they also arrange a variety of activities. We will definitely stay there again!

We arrived in Livingstone with no reservations and had to trek around looking at the different options. What we found was usually overpriced and poor in quality, and we were disheartened... until we found Olga's! The accommodations were fairly new when we showed up, and the rooms were fantastic (spacious, great bathrooms), really amongst the best we saw. And the best part...? The price was actually FAR below the other places. Would highly recommend Olga's for comfortable and clean accommodation! And you have a great Italian kitchen right there to boot (and helping out with a great cause)

A beautiful little lodge attached to the best restaurant in Livingstone. We stayed 5 nights and absolutely loved the place. Olga's fills a much needed gap in the current market - beautiful rooms at budget minded prices.

After spending the past 3 weeks in remote destinations in Namibia, with frozen meat and canned food as our only nourishment, Olga's was a revelation. The portions were generous, the ingredients were fresh, and the food excellently prepared. The pizzas are the best we've had in Zambia, and my friend raved about the Tagliatelle al-ragu. In addition to satisfying our gastronomical needs, patronizing Olga's also means supporting their program to train at-risk youth at skilled trades and providing them with an opportunity, which they are implementing beautifully. If I ever come back to Livingstone, I would definitely visit Olga's again.
