“Good choice for most travelers”

Very good value for Mui Ne resort. Rooms are good size, with excellent views. Air conditioning and hot water were fantastic. Showers were confusing, I soaked the bathroom with loose spray head. Room service good, staff generally spoke adequate english. May have spoken better russian to service the many russians there. Food more than adequate-very extensive menu, decently prepared, wait staff more than adequate. Breakfast buffet was excellent value.
Beach area distant but accessible. much cleaner than many other beaches at mui ne.

Room Tip: hiher floors have better views

The hotel is gigantic and perched on a hill top. It offers little charm and no finesse. The room however was very comfortable with all modern amenities and nice design touches. The hotel has a very generous pool area (numerous pools wih varying depths - very child friendly), unfortunately some of the guests were allowed to be very rowdy hindering a relaxing pool experience (a group of guests were for example allowed to bring their own loud speaker system blasting really loud music much to the dismay of other guests - with the full support of the staff). The breakfast is served in the gigantic dining room, with hundreds of guests eating at the same time, also far from a relaxing experience. The hotel offers some activities on its ground, including a golf course and a wine caslte (!). Its located quite a bits from the beach but there is a free shuttle. You also need to take a taxi (or walk down a busy road for appr. 20 minutes) to get to the tourist strip with restaurants and shops. Reception staff helpful.

We stayed 6 nights and had 3 rooms for our family of 5. The rooms were clean and well serviced each day, the pool is fantastic with great pool bar service. The beach is a little out of the way and you need to take a golf buggy for about 5mins, that said it is not an inconvenience but if you like to walk from your hotel to the beach this does not deliver.
The food was very good although could be a little on the expensive side for Vietnam. The staff were exceptionally good, of note were the restaurant managers Van and Tony, the front desk lady Quin and the Guest Relations manager Nguyen Tan Mot- thankyou to all you made the stay very enjoyable.

We only had one night here, and it is too nice a hotel. The facilities are excellent, the breakfast good, and the service perfect.

An excellent hotel with everything you need & more.

I love Sea Links Beach Hotel.

Space does not allow me to list the numerous ways this hotel disappoints. We visited this hotel as part of a group tour...and thank god we only had to spend one night here. The hotel architecture is over the top...way too much space. They could land 747s in the lobby and common area. There was absolutely no hot water pressure in the rooms and only a trickle of warm water. After discussing this with other members of the group, all rooms were like that! We tried dinner, around 7 pm, in there dining room which could easily seat every person cued at Heathrow on a busy day...and we were the only table with anyone dining. Despite that, it took 30 minutes to get a mediocre bottle of wine and over an hour to eat (there were only four of us). We attempted sleeping later that night but there "high-tech" room lighting system kept turning on and off at the slightest movement in the room. Apparently they were going for the Murphy's law prize in room lighting automation. Mercifully morning came and we awoke to a buffet breakfast with Luke warm coffee and omelette a made with faux eggs ( prior to this only experienced by me in military facilities ). Finally, on departure, multiple members of our traveling party were accused of stealing towels (Walmart quality at best) and not returning plastic room cards (??!!??). Leaving this place did not involve any sweet sorrow ...but it was sweet.

The main resort was nice with big clean rooms with views of the ocean and pool. Good food and room service. GREAT kids club staff and available baby sitting. Nice pool with slides for kids. Small but ok outdoor playground. Nice breakfast and free wifi. Sound insulation was terrible though, every night I could hear the music and karaoking in my room.

I played a round of golf where it was about $100USD including caddy and cart and extra $50 for nice rental clubs. Next day, I wanted to introduce my 4yo son to golf so I took him to go to the range/putting green. I was immediately confronted, refused and denied by multiple staff who said we could not go to the practice area with my child because the 4yo didn't have collared shirt and golf shoes!!! I said no one is here, we will be just 10min to putt, we will not damage the grounds with flip flops, they harassed us the entire time in front of my child the day after I spent $300USD to play with a friend. Absolutely unreasonable and ridiculous. I have golfed at country clubs all over the world for 20yrs, never have I heard such unreasonable demands.

Hotel manager ended up apologizing on behalf of the golf club, but the damage was done as time was limited and I couldn't spend 10 quality minutes on a putting green with my child before we had to leave.

Dear PJCho,

Thank you for your comments!

We’re sorry when your family couldn’t have a comfortable vacation at Sea Links City Resort & Golf. However, the main reason why we couldn’t let your family check-in putting green was that you didn’t book this service and we needed a ticker for it. Moreover, as a professional golfer, we hope you could understand mandatory requirement in using putter club in putting green, instead of irons club as you did.

Sorry for this inconvenience it has caused you and we appreciate your understanding this situation.

Best regards,

Minh Pham
