This hotel was clean and newish - not far taxi ride from the airport. Checkin was swift and went to my room - on my return to reception 20mins later and asked for a city map - I was handed a big fold out map and was told "you buy" .I asked if they had no free smaller maps like every other hotel does and I just got a strange look and was told I needed to buy it. I explained I would find another source and left for a wander. The hotel is about a 40 min walk to the beach and 15 mins to the city centre.
On my return later in the evening there was a couple of tour buses outside hotel, all night there was the noise of Chinese and Korean people in the corridors talking in loud voices - I also got woke up on the first morning at 6am by a Chinese women knocking on my door - she had got the wrong room but no apology and the started shouting in the corridor looking for the person she was looking for.
Breakfast was meant to be a mix of Asian and western foods - other than the butter that was kiwi there was no western elements.
The hotel is obviously catering for coach trips
Staff spoke little English and I was the only westerner I saw at hotel.
There are hotels much closer to the beach or city centre
