“Best BBQ!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2014

FANTASTIC! Try and get a seat inside, although prepare to have your clothes washed the next day and have your eyes burning from all the smoke. It is EXTREMELY worth it though. Fantastic food, friendly service & a great atmosphere. Dinner for 2 and drinks totalled 220,000 Dong.

“Great food at an excellent price 😍”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

Decided to eat here on our one night in Da Nang after reading great reviews. Glad we did, even if the 2.6km walk from our hotel nearly killed us....not because of the distance but trying to contend with the rush hour traffic and the fact that red lights mean nothing lol. Once there the staff were friendly and tried their best to help us choose our food. Highly recommend the octopus and the beef! Was so good that we ordered a total of 5 plates between the two of us, 3 pieces of fried rice bread and 4 drinks all for under $15!!! Worth the walk through the traffic. If your in Da Nang you really should try it

“Great BBQ Food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

A must for BBQ lovers. Here you can BBQ at you own little table.
We ordered quite a bit of food so we spent a while here. Maybe get some help from the staff as there are lots of things on the menu that would challenge even the bravest of foodies.

The one recommendation i would make is to get a table INSIDE ! It may be smokey and a bit annoying but its much better to the alternative..... half way through our meal we had a little four legged furry visitor join us. I named him Risso the R*t. The ground outside can get extremely dirty and this is a heaven for the little fellas.
It kind of got to us but then we realised this is what street food in Vietnam is all about. Nobody else even blinked ! So we calmed ourselves down and carried on. He never bothered us for the rest of the night.

Great food all round.

“Enjoyable BBQ Restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 19, 2014

Everywhere was empty at 8pm on a Sunday night in Da Nang, except for here. It was full of locals and looked immediately enticing. We sat outside to avoid the smokiness from all the BBQs on various tables inside. The ground underneath the tables was filthy - covered in food scraps, used tissues, empty bottles and cans. This was a bit off-putting - most places have bins under the tables to avoid this.

They have English menus with pictures which made ordering fairly easy. We ordered the beef saté, pork and the banana leaf salad. The raw meat arrived first, then the BBQ and lastly the salad. The tiny table couldn't hold all if this and our drinks, so we ended up balancing the salad on our knees.

The meat was very tasty, and cooking it on our own BBQ was a novelty. The pork was extremely fatty, and while it was lovely and crispy when cooked, it's an unhealthy option really.

About 10 mins in to our meal, we spotted a rat under the table beside us. I'm an absolute wuss when it comes to rats, especially near food, so this left me on edge for the rest of the meal. I know it's not a big deal to Asians who are used to rats and it's a risk you take when you eat outside, but they are still filthy and can bite among other reasons for not liking them. In hindsight, I'd have taken the smoke inside over the rats outside.
