A relatively narrow strip of sand (20-30 m) separates Red Beach from the highway that runs along this side of Danang. Across that highway hotels are springing up one after the other and it's clear that this is turning into an entertainment area. Not that this makes the beach all that great... the water seems clean enough, but there's not much to do or see. A beach walk will take you past a few clusters of fishers selling what they've caught in their nets. You'll also pass by lots of sea trash; sea weed, driftwood, the occasional toilet, bricks. With all the lovely beaches in Vietnam, travelers can find much better than this... but is still a beach!
