Owner description: Danang Golf Club is situated on the fledgling central coast of Vietnam amid 150 hectares of dunescape similar to what the world’s first golf courses were carved from. Its chief feature is a 7,160-yard, 18-hole, links-style layout that was designed in the true spirit of the game — blown-out bunkers, firm and fast fairways that bleed gently into wild seaside vegetation, rugged waste areas, swales and hollows — by Australian golf legend and former world No. 1 Greg Norman. It lies in close proximity to two of Vietnam’s most historic destinations — UNESCO World Heritage sites Hoi An and Hue — and offers breathtaking views of the Marble Mountains, East Sea and Cham Islands.

“GREAT TRACK”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2013

We were disappointed only one hole, the signature 16th gave us a spectacular view of the Ocean. All others were tight fairways guarded by pines. The greens guarded by the typical Norman Sand!

“Beautiful course, challenging round”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

If you play golf regularly in Asia, you will know that it can be quite unpleasant at times. You get harassed by marshals and the greens and fairways on many courses especially public courses are so overused and neglected, you sometimes can't play a decent round.
A round on this magnificent course was golfing heaven. It's a links course so its fast and tricky at times which was challenging and fun for players like us in our mid-20 handicaps. Carved naturally our of the dunes, it is a beautiful course to experience and we recommend it 100%. Mark Stanley, the superintendent of the course, deserves 5 stars for his hard work and commitment to making this such an incredible course to play.

There is a stunning club house with change rooms, showers etc and also a very good driving range, chip and putt area etc.

The caddies we used were knowledgeable and friendly and buggies were supplied at an extra cost.

You have got to try this course if you are in to golf!

“Excellent golf course”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 26, 2013

Went to Danang Golf Club last week, I was surprised to see how tough is golf, very well maintain, very fast green, excellent caddy (should ask for English speaking) half course house (2 on 18 holes) are very comfy, and allow some beer at half course to cheer you up. good idea....
All equipment and club house are very well design, and welcoming.

All staff are very friendly, and they will go out of their way to help you out if you need. Most of the player there well know the rules and etiquette (not always in Vietnam) golf was busy but we have never wait more then 5 minutes, as other player let us go through since we were only 2 against game of 3 or 4 player.

Overall, a great place to play. watch out the bunker :-((

“Executive Golf”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

Nothing to fault. A spectacular course, a delightful caddie who only got one green read wrong in the whole round, good quality rental clubs and excellent facilities post round. Definitely one to visit - and visit again in my case:)

“Need to stay out of the rough”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Danang Golf Course, designed by Greg Norman, is quite similar to some golf courses in Australia but the greens were not as fast as those in Australia. Lots of sand and thick rough. If you are straight-hitter even though not long then you should not have much problem to enjoy the course. I guess the rough and sand would be my dislike because you usually will lose strokes there.
