We were on a long stroll around the riverside area of Danang. Just been dropped off at the Dannag museum and discovered it was closed. Silly us! However after a 10 min wlak or so along the riverfront, feeling hot, thirtsy and a bit silly re the museum we came across the Waterfront Bar and restaurant. it looked, clean, inviting and very well patronised. We decided to give it a try for lunch and drinks. the menu looked very good value, tapas tasting platter, vietnamese platters at 150 000 dng, pastas, burgers and western mains. we decided on one of their special sandwiches. I had the Sarkovsky? ham, camenbert and tomato, my companion the hari Krishna vegetarian. both were delicious, large sandwich, fresh ingredients and accompanied with good french fries. The other meals being served around us alos looked very very good. Our drinks were served cold and with large glass of ice as requested. No problems with the service here at all.
The drinks menu was extensive, many different beers - san miguel draught on tap -, lots of wines and all at good prices. happy hour 2 -1 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. for vn beers, house spirits and glasses of wine.If we had longer in Dannag we would definitely return.
