“Nor good or bad choice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

The situation is quite good, you can go walking to most important places in Hoi An. The hotel is not bad but the average quality price is not the best, our room was in the first floor and it was really small. They have a good swimming pool, at noon when you come back from visit somewhere is a good option to have the swim there.
The staff is not helpful, nor happy, it seems you always annoying them. And we had also some problem with our payment or something like that, I don't remember exactly but they try to cheat us.

The rooms were clean and a good size with a nice little balcony.my room was quit noisy tho with a constant buzz from outside. The buffet breakfast was nice. On one of the afternoons i was by the pool and there were alot of big rats running around at the back by the pool.staff were quite helpfull.

Stayed for 1 night in a standard double and found it a lesser standard for our money than other places in Vietnam. Paid $25 which was a little bit more than usual (on a backpacker budget) and although not expecting the Ritz we found it was average at best. Dated room which seemed a bit grubby, although was big - shower quite weak - guy at reception was rude or not bothered when we checked in - wifi did not work - pool was a bit dirty - had a fridge and luggage storage before our bus - good breakfast with quite a lot of choice, which was replenished. That was the best bit. If in Hoi An again I would check somewhere else out as $20-25 usually gets you a better place.

First impressions: Not too shabby... but not impressive either. Averaging between 20-25 GBP pp per night, it's great value for its 3-star rating. Grade B.

Pros: Proximity to the town centre. About a 10-minute walk to the town centre and a 5-minute walk to the river and the Japanese Bridge (via the Nhu Trung street shortcut). Close to the famous Yali Clothier. Having free WiFi, internet access in the lobby and a mid-sized swimming pool doesn't hurt either. The complimentary buffet breakfast is good; there's even a short-order cook onsite to cook your eggs to your liking.

Cons: Although roomy and clean, the bedrooms tend to be run down and, for some, in need of repairs.

Verdict: Adequate for a few nights but, for longer stays, there are better options in the city -- even the same street.

I stayed here after staying at another place that was much more money. I preferred this hotel. The location is great. A short walk into town, laundry and rental bikes across the street, good breakfast, a pool in the middle. Very clean rooms and fairly nice staff. They set up my train ticket and ride to Danang which was good. Lots of travelers here. Popular spot.

A great middle range hotel with spaciou rooms and pleasnat service. Breakfast is OK, and the staff are happy to go the xtra mile from arrrranging for washing at a very reasonable price, to recommending sites to visit.

A great plus of this hotel is it's proximity to the old quarter were we tended to spend most evening dining and strolling around the many shops and hisorical sites. Hoi An is a definite visit if in Vietnam and a good break of the big cities.

The pool in the middle of the hotel is spacious and a great place to relax. The rooms are maybe slightly older, but spacious and comfortable. Plenty of massage shops in the vicinity, and two blocks away what seems to be 100's of taylors!

If you need something made, this is definately the town to have it made in!

Room Tip: Corner rooms are larger the the rooms in the middle of the corridors.

Good mid range Hotel. Good size rooms. Good location. Service is average to good. Breakfast is average. Value for money is ok. Great pool setting, which is handy on those hot days. We are a family of four. We'd stay there again.
