“Ha An Hotel”

Very much a boutique hotel. We loved it. Walking distance to food markets, attractions such as Japanese bridge etc. 4km bike ride to beach, they have bikes. Taxis are also only about $2 to most local spots. The breakfast is great. Their restaurant is superb, food amazing & presentation & service is 5 star. Would definately recommend this hotel. Staff are soooo friendly & helpful. Recommend highly getting glasses or prescription sunglasses made @ Vien Duong II, 27 Tran Hung Dao ....Also recommend Lana for clothes to be made or A. Dong Silk ..... DO NOT get shoes or clothes made at Trang Tri --- 34 & 57 & 63 Tran Hung Dao Street.

Room Tip: Superior garden view room on ground floor is fantastic. Room is a wee bit small BUT it is delightful...

Such value for money. This hotel was on the top side of our normal spending for Vietnamese standards, but having stayed in Hoi An previously we wanted to be closer into the old town area and knew that accommodation in this area was dearer than other areas of Vietnam. The hotel is only 10 minute walk into the main restaurant area located along the river, plus there are plenty of restaurants only a couple minutes stroll.

This wonderful hotel offers it all, from the amazing greating on your arrival with a cool drink and fruit platter to the petals and flowers and complimentary fruit basket in the room. The room did not want for anything. We had an in room computer connected to the Flat screen TV, DVD player and selection of DVDs. The rooms are serviced twice a day, morning and again in the evening. King sized bath sheet towels plus regular towels in the bathroom and plenty of room amenities. We had a gound floor garden view room, with a fabulous king sized bed that was very comfortable not too soft. The breakfast spread catered for every nationality and then some, including the wonderful egg chief.

The staff are very attentive and go the extra mile to make your stay special. We had an early morning departure of 4.30am for a 6am flight. Waiting for us was a breakfast hamper to take and have on the road of croissants, fruit and yoghurt. Just lovely.

Just love Hoi An and Ha An hotel.

This was a gem of a place located on the outskirts of old town that made it a quiet retreat within easy walking and biking distance to the market and old town shops and restaurants. It's by no means secluded with great restaurants nearby and on property. The service is great, particularly the front desk and restaurant. The staff are cheery and hard working with pretty good English and are very proactive in letting you know if they don't quite understand and are quick to comprehend after an explanation. The rooms are quaint, but small and fit all the amenities you might need. The complimentary fresh fruit and the wonderful breakfast buffet included with the room are definite pluses as is the free wifi. I booked two tours with the hotel with guides and drivers and the front desk arranged for my booking with a local cooking school -- they also picked me up and dropped me off in Da Nang. Although the tours may have been a little pricier compared to others in Vietnam it's still a steal of a bargain and the quality, knowledge, friendliness and professionalism of guides and drivers were well worth the extra $5. The free bike rentals were also a bonus and I enjoyed cycling around the city and environs. Perfect location and excellent value. I highly recommend!

When we opened the door of our room there were flowers on the bed, the staff was very polished. We loved the free bikes. They arranged a driver to take us to the airport. We had purchased a painting and the hotel had a shipping agent come to the hotel and ship the painting. The breakfast was very good. This is a place that should not be missed on any trip to Vietnam.

The building is unique and beautiful. Right from the start, you do checking in style with a refreshing beverage in their beautiful terrace, breakfast was included and delicious with a great choice of products and different dishes every day. Everything is well decorated and tastes really good. The room was meduim size but with everything you need, including complementary water and fruit, kettle, coffee and tea etc. Room is done twice a day. The hotel offers a great range of services: free bikes, ATM machine, billard, small gym, pick up services, laundry, free beach towels... etc. The hotel is only five minutes to the main street in Hoi An and ideally located in a quiet street, close to a lot of restaurants. The beach is 25 mn by bike and an enjoyable ride.

This was one of my favourite hotels from our Southeast Asia trip! The staff are very, very polite, professional and helpful - they spoke fairly good English and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay, from recommendations to taking care of me when a motorcyclist hit me (while I was bicycling) just outside the entrance to the hotel. The breakfast is out of this world - you can have anything from fresh fruit to dumplings to a custom-made omelette with all the toppings. The rooms are very comfortable and beautifully decorated. I could not recommend this hotel more highly. And to top it off...it was very affordable at $50 USD or so/room for 2 adults.

Room Tip: Ask for a garden view room

The weather was terribly hot when we arrived, the welcome drink was a relief.
The room is amazing. Large TV screen where we can surf the net and there were DVD provided. Strong Wifi signal. Comfortable room with dehumidifier.
Love the bathroom. Clean and I felt I was having a SPA session.
Breakfast was a good spread and the staff was pleasant, warm, helpful.
They provided bicycle where we used it to cycle to the beach, to cafes nearby. Within walking distance to all the eateries, shops etc.
Home away from home. We stayed there for 4 nights!
