“Better value elsewhere in Hoi An.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed November 17, 2013

Lots of pros and cons to this hotel.
Pro:
Nice pool with poolside bar service and food.
Rooms are large with balcony
Breakfast was fantastic, huge selection of good
Staff were super friendly, seemed genuinely pleased to be speaking to us.

Cons:
Location - too far from the old town to comfortably walk (esp at night)
Overpriced. We stayed at a different less up-class hotel for half the price in hoi an and were even happier
Restaurant food was bland and too expensive for the quality.

Overall, it was not a terrible experience and we enjoyed the pool + service immensely, but there is better for cheaper available in Hoi An.

A fairly standard upper mid range hotel. Pricey for the area, nice pool but very noisy in the mornings. Breakfast pretty good but don't bother eating dinner in the main restaurant as it is terrible compared with much cheaper choices near by.

Friendly staff and very helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy. Takes a while for hot water to get to the fourth floor, but plenty of it. Staff were very keen to learn of our thoughts of the hotel. Great pool, breakfast buffet and bar area. Good all-round value for money, close to Old Hoi An, river, beach. Staff organised day trips for us on there suggestion and we were more than happy on both trips.

A beautiful, cozy and cute hotel. The rooms are spacious, nice and tidy with a large balcony. The staff is very friendly and helpful (special thanks to Twie she's really a sweetheart). You can cycle through the rice fields to the beach and it's about 10 minutes walk to the cozy center with lots of restaurants and souvenir shops. At the hotel you can borrow bikes for free.

We stayed for three nights with friends. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms clean and with everything you could want to make your stay comfortable, and was an easy walk to the old town centre. We found this very good value, having got a special price through Agoda. The breakfast was lovely, and a great start to the day.

The Glory Hotel is a nice place to stay without spending too much cash. We have stayed here before and returned with the kids beacuse it was nice. There are no interconnecting rooms however we were placed in rooms side-by-side so we could keep the kids close.
Unfortunately they were doing renos to the floor below us and were starting hammering and sawing at 0700am! This was not advised on the Agoda booking! It was also very inconvenient as we ended up with a kid sick for over two days where we were stuck in the room with a sick kid and a headache too!
The staff are fantastic, nice pool, great breakfast (delicious pho), nice rooms.
Would stay again but will be confirming if there are renos going on!

Room Tip: The rooms up higher have the best views of course; however if you have little ones stay in rooms dow...

Worst case scenario tour group trap. You wouldn't want to stay here if you had options and luckily we did. Laroups roam the facility and explain why the place is still in business.
We booked a "suite" through Agoda and expected to check in to decent place based on all the reviews, we were wrong. The room we had was old, moist and had a wet dog aroma to it, the room was in obvious neglect and hadn't been used, properly cleaned or maintained for quite a while. We booked an extra bed and it was two hard boxes with a thin excuse for a mattress on it ($20). Just sitting on it was uncomfortable, we didn't want to try sleeping.

Somewhat startled by the poor quality we contemplated on what we would do, when we found a lot of rat droppings in the bathroom we decided to leave.
