“Special price for you..”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2013

You get a 2 minutes speech about the house and then you are guided into their shop where they try to sell you everything they got. The house is interesting and I would love to learn more about it, but the guide is really bad in English and she is only interested in selling you stuff. Not worth a visit if you ask me.

“A beautiful building, spoilt by a sales pitch”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

This is a major tourist trap. Taken in to see the ancient building (family home) you are quickly herded to a back room to see hand-crafted table-cloths (for sale), then whisked upstairs which is purely & simply a well stocked craft shop.

“I'd take a pass on this one”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013

Didn't think this family chapel was worth the price of a ticket. Not much to see although they do have lots of old coins & souvenirs to purchase!

“Disappointing souvenir visit”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2013 via mobile

Very nice old house, but after 1 minute bad English explication of which we hardly understood one word, we we're taken into the large souvenir shop...
Very disappointing to pay with an old town ticket and end up (like always in Vietnam) in a pushy shop...

“Worth a look”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2013

This will cost you 1 old town ticket & I think it's worth using. Someone who lives there will give you a little run down on the history which is nice, though the tour ends in their shop.
