“Good hotel in between the town and beach”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 31, 2011

My sister and I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights on our 2 week whirlwind trip of Vietnam.

We booked the room online after consulting T/A. I emailed the hotel to arrange transfers and arrival time and they responded within a couple hours. This was the start of great service. The staff at this hotel were very friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English, nothing was too silly to ask! They provided good info on tailors and restaurants around. and things to do.

The hotel is central about 2km from the town centre and 1km from the beach where the hotel has an area for hotel guests to use. The hotel has a free shuttle bus to both of these places which runs about every hour. But if you are like us and love to wander about it's an easy walk to each or you can also use the hotel's complimentary bicycles if available. If you can't get bikes you can hire for about USD$1 per day at a few places next to/around the hotel.

The rooms are quite large and very comfortable and clean. We used the safe deposit box but it failed to open again and we had to get a maintenance guy in to unlock it. Later in reception I heard another guest telling reception the same thing, so perhaps avoid putting anything in the box!

The hotel has a great pool, not much sun if you love to tan, but if you are like me and the sun hates you then the shade is your friend! We weren't big fans of the beach and came back after about an hour, but I'm from Western Australia and have never found better beaches in the world so yes I'm a beach snob sorry, others may love it!

The buffet breakfast is also very good!

This hotel was good for the money we paid, expensive amenities, but just across the road you can get anything for a really good price, i.e. laundry etc.
A good location - it's a hot walk into Hoi An, but there is a shuttle that will take you in, not very good transport times though.
The only down side was the roof top bar was closed so we didn't get to see the main attraction, and it's not sound proofed, so you could hear people moving around all night.
Otherwise was pretty good.

This is a very nice hotel. All staff are excellent, particularly Teppy, Kathy, Duc, Roben, and Lyna. They were quite nice to me. I really thank them. I want to come back again!

The Pacific is very nice inside and out! We stayed in a Villa room by the pool which was a great size, nice bed and bathroom. The pool is wonderful. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, remembering your name and asking if there is anything they can do for you, a special thanks to Thoa, Tuyen, Khanh, Anna and laura who made our stay great. So many little extras that really made it including free shuttle bus into the old town and the beach, free internet, free towel use, free bicycle hire and they have their very own private beach!! with free sun hut and chairs, pool tables and bar/restraunt. Would recomment here and come back in a heartbeat!

after a long train ride and some unpleasant hotel experiences prior to our arrival at the pacific, it was wonderful to be greeted by staff with a smile, who hastily got us into our room(which was fantastic) for some much needed sleep. staff provided us with a mad, and personally marked out where the ATM's, private beach and places of interest where. shuttle bus services and free bike hire make getting around easy. huge thumbs up to the staff - Roben, Teppy, Kathy and Maria where particularly helpful. will definetly be back here next time where in this part of the world. This hotel was fantastic , especially the beautiful receptionist Kathy who was quite happy to replace my welcome drink of Juice to a beer , she made my day.
The staff were fantastic at the Hoi An Pacific Hotel , nothing was ever too much . They were even happy to entertain my 4 year old daughter , which she loved .
We stayed in a poolside Villa , which was fantastic & plenty of room . This is our second time to Hoi An in 6 months and would definatly stay here again . Special thanks must also go to Liyly who opened up breakfast early on our last day , before we caught our early flight , Roben who kept my daughter entertained poolside , she had a great time , Tai also for lending a helping hand with the baby stroller up the steps, or organizing taxis to town. But Kathy your #1 thankyou for my Birthday cake :-) & organizing golf .
