“Strange setting but amazing rolls ”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013

I thought we'd check this place out for lunch. When we walked up, they ushered us inside to a single table inside a disused hairdressing salon and didn't ask what we wanted, it is assumed, they do one thing and my goodness do they do it well. There was no conversation between my partner and I while we filled our tummies with the delicious rolls. GO!!! You'll love it!!

“YUM...nothing more to say...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 2, 2013 via mobile

This is how it goes...you arrive, get directed to a stool, wait a bit and then an amazing roll arrives complete with a plastic bag to catch the drips! It is another delight this town has to offer. 2 rolls and 2 cokes = 70000VND or $3.50. You would be crazy to miss this experience, and yes the room behind does have an old hair dryer on the wall...

“Stop looking, this is THE place.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013 via mobile

Seriously folks, stop searching for places to eat in Hoi An now. The bahn mi queen is the place to eat. My husband and I just came from dinner there and our bellies couldn't be happier. We ordered just one sandwich thinking we wanted to grab a bahn mi at a different place on the way home. We ended up getting another because it was so tasty.

FYI, just eat your sandwich there, don't try to do takeout. You definitely want this sucker warm.

“Cracking Food At Unbelievable Prices”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 28, 2013

Just had a sandwich here and it was bloody amazing... It's a little hard to find as it's down a side street and it can be a little confusing as it has obviously been a hairdressing salon, but don't be deterred - this is super tasty and it cost 5 dollars for 2 sandwiches and a beer - that's including a decent tip!!!

Would recommend highly!

“Best banh mi!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 27, 2013

I have been living in Hanoi for 6 months and this is the best banh mi I have tasted since coming to Vietnam. The store is just like any other Banh mi stand (a little underwhelming) but don't be disheartened, it is definitely worth tasting. I also had her ca phe no da which was good also.
