“Good value - great rooms.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 12, 2014 via mobile

We stayed here for three nights during our stay in Hoi An. We arrived at about 7am from Nha trang and they had the room available already so they let us check in early which was perfect as we were in need of a nap after the night bus from Nha Trang. The beds were the comfiest we have had in 3 months around SEA which was a massive bonus for us. Rooms were clean, nicely furnished and good bathrooms. Rooms were cleaned daily. Breakfast was great and was effectively all you could eat with a buffet and as many selections as you wanted (within reason) off the menu which is quite rare in lots of hotels in Vietnam.

The staff were all very helpful - especially with a very aggressive taxi driver who brought us to the hotel from the bus. They said just to go inside and they would sort it.

Hotel in a good position as well - short walk across the bridge into the old town.

What a great place to stay!
We are a family of 3 and can not say enough about how we loved this place.
Good clean rooms with the comfiest beds!
The staff were great and we loved the gentle Mr Minh and the flamboyant Mr Hieu!
The ladies looked after us too and nothing was a problem. The breakfasts were good with freshly made coffee whenever we asked.there is a pool and although it is quite cool as it is situated in under the shade we found it to be refreshing for a quick plunge!
They organized our car to the airport and bikes from across the lane way from a family with the 2 cutiest wee girls, Lisa and Lilly.
Fabulous place, book in now and don't waste your time looking at hundreds of options!

Room Tip: Rm 301 was great....just ask to see first if you are concerned.

The hotel is amazing. Comfy beds, great shower, hot water and super fast wifi. Excellent location and breakfasts are really good. Generally it's all great and all of the staff are lovely - apart from one, the young guy often on reception who is entirely responsible for the low rating I am giving.

Firstly he attempted - with a straight face - to sell us train tickets for DOUBLE their actual cost saying it was due to high demand (demand has no effect on the train tickets in Vietnam, the price is what it is).
He then tried to sell us plane tickets fully 70% higher than their actual price.

We went to the Sinh Cafe 10mins walk north of the old town and got train tickets at cost price plus an openly published admin fee of 70,000 dong (roughly £2). His "admin fee" was therefore the cost of the train ticket again - absolute rip off.

On our penultimate morning he had a screaming row with a guy in reception - possibly one of their own drivers - while everyone was attempting to have their breakfast, highly embarrassing for everyone and totally unprofessional. Yelling, screaming, doors slamming.. It was so loud that staff were coming down from other areas of the hotel to watch.

And it goes on - on our last night, when I was attempting to buy a snack from the shop they own opposite, he physically grabbed me and starting making disgusting comments about me - largely around my apparent weight. No I'm not skinny but I'm certainly not obese and it shouldn't matter even if I was. I'm a paying customer! It was degrading and awful. It's people like me who pay his wages and keep him in the inordinate amounts of hairgel he uses. I don't think I have ever been so humiliated in a hotel.

And still it goes on - on our last morning another guest ordered a taxi, he tried to get his mate to take her and she refused, calling a proper taxi instead. Once her back was turned he proceeded to make rude gestures and pull faces behind her back in full view of everyone. She is a paying customer too!

When we checked out he completely blanked us and didn't even acknowledge our presence.

I loved everything else about this place and everyone else who works there, but he is a nasty, vile and incredibly inappropriate young man who needs a lesson in customer service. What makes it even more of a shame is that the older guy on reception who I think is the owner is really nice and helpful. Unfortunately all the time that boy is on reception I would never come back, if it weren't for him I would probably have given the place a 5.

excellent location, just round the corner from the old centre of Hoi An, but down quiet road. Spotless rooms; we had a room on the higher floors, spacious with small balcony overlooking the street. Staff very courteous and helpful; arranged pick up from Danang airport, which was really useful. Tours were available from hotel, but were never pushed by staff. Lovely buffet breakfast, very relaxed atmosphere, would definitely stay there agai

I came to Hoi An with 10 other friends for a weekend to get suits tailored and also to go on a diving trip. This hotel was recommended to us by the dive operator.

Rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. Bathrooms were clean. There was wifi throughout the hotel.

The staff didn't speak perfect English but it was definitely better than average for the area. They were very friendly and arranged airport transfers as well as motorbike rentals for us. They also let our group keep all of out luggage at the hotel for an extra day while we were staying on a remote islands during our diving trip.

The best part of this hotel was the free hot buffet breakfast. Everyone in our group really enjoyed it.

All in all, a great place to stay! The rooms aren't ultra luxurious but the price is very good and the included breakfast was a favourite.

The rooms are modern and clean, have A/C, a fridge and are a good size. The staff is friendly and helpful enough.
Don't count on the pool as it's more of a big bath tub in the lobby than anything else. Breakfast is acceptable although there is so much fabulous food in Hoi An that I ended up going out and grabbing some street food most days.
What really makes this hotel is the location. extremely convenient!
