“Great deal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2013

Tip1: book in advance. Good deals online.
Tip2: check my review about Mi Son tour and my dinning/ attractions suggestions.

Pros: modern, nice decor, functional, very clean, great value for money, good location.

Cons: breakfast could be served faster. It takes a long time if you wake up in the early side. Staff should be more proactive (they are nice but they look shy).

This hotel is brand new (5 months). It has a modern decor. The rooms are nicely decorated and bathroom is very functional (western style).
The breakfast is included. You can get fruits with muesli and yogurt or eggs with a fresh baguette. Everything is good but could have more variety. And should be ready faster.
Every day from 4pm to 6pm they serve cocktails for free (alcoholic or non alcoholic). My only suggestion is that you shouldn't need to ask for it. The staff should be more proactive.
Free wifi, computers and bikes.
It's located in a quiet area at a walkable distance from the ancient town. Very convenient.
We checked other 2 hotels in the same street (top on Tripadvisor) and they were worse and more expensive. We found the Vaia Hotel a great value for money ($25).
Staff is nice but should be more proactive. They could do even better. Sometimes they look shy.
Susan is good.
I highly recommend this hotel, one of our best deals in Southeast Asia.

Room Tip: Room 103 is spacious enough and nice

From being collected by car at the airport, staff service, breakfast and the standard of the room, I was throughouly impressed by what Vaia offered.

Miss Hong and the receptionists were always polite, courteous and most helpful with all my enquiries.

Rooms are spacious with a luxurious bathroom.
It is certainly the best service I have received in Vietnam, and that is including the more expensive hotels in the area.

The hotel is conveniently within walking distance to the old town while the beach is a 10 minute taxi ride.

I recommend my friend, to stay here the following month and he and his girlfriend were suitably impressed.

Thank you for the experience!

For overall experience, this is probably my favourite hotel in Vietnam.
The staff were friendly, without being overbearing, and very helpful. Not only did they provide local information (maps etc) but they assisted with transfers, train tickets, and tours.
The room was clean and well equiped, and the bathroom was spacious. The hotel was quiet(!!) and breakfast was great. The free bike hire was a nice addition, and a fun way to explore Hoi An.
I really loved the location! The hotel is on the perfect street, one way leads to the beach, the other to the centre, with the central eating / drinking / shopping streets only a 5 min walk away.
I would definitely recommend staying here!

Vaia Boutique Hotel is great hotel with nice and clean rooms. It just 5 minutes walk to the old quarter and the town attractions. The girls at the reception are more than happy to accommodate us especially when we were tired they help us arrange a nice massage treatment at Pansee Spa (nearby the hotel) and when we were having tummy problems they help us to call a doctor. I felt like home! Will come back soon!

Nice new rooms and we especially loved the free bike hire and happy hour. We stayed in a deluxe room and like others have said the shower leaks water all over the tile floor. This makes for a very slippery surface and combined with a huge step down to get out of the bath/shower it's pretty dangerous. Otherwise a nice place to stay and good location between the beach and old town.

We arrived very early from a long bus drive and took a motorbike from the bus station to the hotel. Everything is very close and you can get around by bicycle easily during your stay. Hoi An is a MUST do when you are in Vietnam. It is so different from the rest of the country and so peaceful and relaxing. The hotel was 3 km away from the beach and 5 min by bicycle to the market and old town with cafes and restaurants. We got a room in the morning but w bit of confusion had to wait for 1 hr. The hotel has great rooms with enough space, modern bathrooms and comfortable beds, AC, TV, internet etc. Each time you want to go out you can get a bicycle for free along with a map. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast, which is included, is also great.

Clean modern rooms and really friendly helpful staff. Price and location also very good indeed. Free bike hire, tea and coffee and evening cocktail made this an exceptional stay. Very highly recommended, and breakfast pretty good to!
