“Great place to stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

This virtually brand new hotel was a pleasure to stay in, the staff were friendly and willing to offer tips and information on the area. Our family room was just as we booked, very spacious and everything clean and new. The hotel is a little out of walking distance to town but that's not a problem as they have the free bicycles.

The only slight negative was that the food at the restaurant wasnt too impressive, conversely the breakfast was! If going to the beach ignore the whistle-blowers that want you to leave your bikes and turn off the main track for some empty spots. The street food in town is also a lot better than that in the tourist restaurants.

Loved Hoi An....and loved this Hotel......The Hotel is not in the CBD but is a 15 minute walk or 5 minute push bike ride...which the Hotel provide for free.....we didn’t use the bikes as we enjoyed the walk to the city centre, people watching on the way.....or a taxi was around $2 AUS each way.....The Hotel is fairly new and as such....everything worked well....we loved the ‘rain shower’ shower head ........all staff were extremely friendly and helpful......breakfast is supplied daily in the dining room with a good range of hot & cold foods....including an omelette station.....the Hotel also has a comfortable pool area with sun loungers and pool towels provided....the Hotel arranged a car with driver/guide for a My Son tour for $40 AUS...which we thought was about right for a 4 hour trip ...we would definitely stay here again...

Room Tip: Tin Tin restaurant across the street, we found to be the best restaurant in Hoi An....if not our ent...

We booked this hotel online & it was no trouble at all to check in when we arrived after 11pm following a long train trip. The staff are lovely and the room was great. The balcony overlooks the inviting pool! The room was a good size & bathroom was nice too! The only tiny tiny criticism I would have is it would be good to have a bin in the room as well as the small one in the bathroom, but that really is being picky!
It's about a 15-20 min walk into town but they have bikes you can borrow. If I was returning to Hoi An I would definitely stay here.

The room is very spacious and clean. The bathroom was fabulous! It has a beautiful outdoor pool that can be seen from the balcony of the rooms. It is a very new hotel, so is lacking a bit in coziness: walls and furniture are a bit stark, but this may change after construction is finished. The restaurant food is mediocre. I could tell they were really striving to have good customer service, but their English was somewhat limited making it difficult to get your needs fully understood. They are a little distant from the main center but provide you with free bicycles which makes it only a 5 min ride to downtown. All in all I had a good experience there.

This hotel is tricky to find on TA as for some reason it's under "speciality lodging".

All rooms are facing the pool, the entrance to the rooms being from an open corridor that faces the neighboring mandarin (?) tree field. There is a decent size swimming pool. The breakfast is average, with some choice of western and local dishes.

The rooms are very spacious and clean. The building is completely new, so is the hotel.

PROs
- location if you want to be in the quieter, cleaner part of town (10 min cycling to Hoi An, 15 min to the beach)
- free bicycles that are quite new and maintained by staff
- staff very friendly, informative, but not pushy
- excellent value for money
- clean
- complimentary water, minibar beer good price (15000d)

CONs
- sound insulation could be a problem if you are a light sleeper or have some noisy neighbors
- there are gaps between windows and around the door, meaning that it's easy for bugs or insects to enter the room from the open corridor. This is pretty standard for Vietnam and we fixed it with some sticky tape (saved us from a mosquito or two)
- simple breakfast (it was OK for us, use this as an opportunity to discover Hoi An's amazing cuisine outside of the hotel)

It's a basic but comfortable hotel with excellent service and new and clean rooms. Exactly the kind that you often don't find even by paying a lot more.

We also organized a tour to My Son through the hotel, it was just as expected, OK, with 40 other tourists on a non-airconned bus. Price was good, $6. After that we organized a more exclusive biking tour and a cooking class recommended on TA (worth the extra money).

Room Tip: Higher floor for a view if Hoi An

Great value hotel located about 10mins bicycle ride from the centre of hoi an.we stayed for the two nights and enjoyed it.hotel is only a few months open and is very clean and well maintained.
The pool was a great plus.the breakfast was a buffet style set up and to be honest had a few strange options but nonetheless did the trick.
They offer free bicycles which are ideal and if you ever want to go for some dinner nearby try the little restaurant right across the street.great food cooked by two women who take great pride in their restaurant, give the a try.

The hotel is new, has many rooms and a good swimming pool. Rooms are big and all in the front side. Not the tipical service extremely kind you can find in Vietnam but nothing to complain. Brakfast is rich, mainly with local food. They give you the bicycle for free, so you can reach the beach in 15 minutes and every place town in less time. Considering the low price for the double room is one of the best solution if you want to spend the day at sea and the evening in town.
