“Relaxation in Hoi An”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 28, 2013

We stayed here for 2 nights and would return. We initially booked a suite room, but changed to the junior suite as there was an excavator next to our suite room. The manager contacted me after we asked if we could change rooms, this was done with no issues and a bottle of wine thrown in for the inconvenience. The shuttle bus service was great as was the pool, gym, sauna and other activities. We wished we could have stayed longer to really enjoy the hotel's facilities :-)

Room Tip: Junior suite rooms are great, and walk straight on to the sandy beach.

We stayed here for 6 nights on our recent trip to Vietnam and it was a fantastic base. Total luxury to come back to but really close to loads of the sights and tours - we did the Red Bridge cooking school tour and Wild Rice Eco tour which were both fantastic.
The little touches such as fresh fruit, daily folk tales and umbrellas made all the difference!
Hoi An is beautiful but we also really enjoyed the area around Victoria Hotel - we ate at 2 fantatic restaurants; one along the beach front with live seafood, and the other overlooking the river on the right on the way into Hoi An - not to be missed with amazing Tamarind prawns and a bill of less than £10 for 2 people including drinks and 2 courses.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and location and hope to visit a Victoria hotel again.

Stayed for 2 nights. Great resort, excellent rooms, great breakfast and all amenities you can imagine. Very Nice staff, great pool, free shuttle buses to center of town (there should be one more in the middle of the afternoon though). The only three turn offs were 1: the extremely high prices for any non included food (when compared to some great restaurants in town) and services 2: the beach (I'll explain): even though the beach is top notch (about 30km long), clean and wonderfull water temperature, its a very short walk from the hotel wall limit and the sea (about 20 meters wide where the hotel is implanted) 3: the beds are too soft and my back hurt every time o woke up. All the rest, very pleasant, really good experience and value for money.

Stylish place, with lots to do. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food is excellent, 3 great bars, nice beach, nice pool, reading room, and the rooms are light and airy. You can also walk along the beach and find local eateries on plastic chairs on the beach. They serve great seafood for $3 a main!

We've just returned from two weeks at this marvellous hotel. Even though we experienced a typhoon, there wasn't anything that did not meet our expectations. There is a huge choice of delicious food at breakfast from Pho to traditional eggs and bacon, fruits, cereals, cold cuts and bakery. We ate at the hotel on a few evenings and lunchtimes and found the food delicious and beautifully presented. We met the head chef, who was very proud of his menu and deservedly so.

The hotel is close to Hoi An town and the hotel provides a shuttle bus service and there is the very cheap taxi service. The river taxi is a great experience and needs to be done as does the motorbike sidecar outing.

All of the staff were friendly and did the utmost to accommodate and provide a first class service. The Spa is fantastic and offers some wonderful treatments, which naturally we took advantage of.

Hoi An town itself is great for having clothes made and you are spoilt for choice in the number of "Cloth Shops"; there are also some great restaurants in town.

We would definitely recommend the Victoria and we are going back next year.

Room Tip: Try not to have rooms 139 - 137, they are directly opposite the bar

My husband and I stayed 6 nights in a junior beach front suite. Loved the outdoor, shower, very spacious, gorgeous beach, attentive staff, easy access by hotel shuttle or cab to Hoi An town. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, very relaxing, a great place to end our stay in Vietnam.

My partner and i recently travelled to Hoi An and stayed at the Victoria for 5 days...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, a personal birthday note, flowers and fruit bowl was waiting in our hotel room as we entered after breakfast. The breakfast room was very well organised with plenty of options from variety of hot cook items(including eggs cooked to order) to fresh bakery items, fresh fruits and juices. The stunning beach view was a winner from our room. Most of the staff members are came across were friendly and extremely helpful, especially Hiep Hi from the F&B team and Van from the Spa.The hotel facilities were more than adequate with a pool, spa, fitness room, tennis course, computer room with internet access, games room and of course the beautiful beach. It was fantastic and we will definately recommend the Hoi An to friends and family.

Thank you and well done!
