Description: Overlooking the gardens and mutli-tiered pools, The Restaurant is open all day until 10:30 pm. Intricately carved screens open onto this elegant, high ceilinged breakfast and dinner dining room that overlooks our palm fringed swimming pool and the East Sea. Equally impressive is the open kitchen where an international team of talented chefs prepares contemporary fusion, authentic Indian and grilled gourmet fare. On cooler dry days, dine outside on the shaded wooden deck.

“restaurant without personality”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2012

We stayed at the hotel and will provide a separate review, as the hotel is truly amazing. The restaurant though was very disappointing. The setting and decor - by the huge infinity pool and the green lanterns - are beautiful and tasteful, however everything from the food which was very mild, to the service which was coldand distant was a disappointment. Not to mention the price, which was very high without a reason.

“The Restaurant”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed March 28, 2012

We didn't stay at The Nam Hai, only had dinner at the main restaurant, called 'The Restaurant'. Granted, the resort is beautiful, but absolutely not worth eating at. I had the grilled tandoori vegetable salad. It cost US$15 and came with about 8 pieces of grilled vegetables and the chef had badly burnt 2 of the 8 pieces. The tuna steak was also so-so. The food on the whole was terribly mediocre and, as a result, ridiculously overpriced. I would also have appreciated the staff informing us that the bottled water was from Italy and cost US$8.50 per bottle before we ordered two bottles and didn't find out till the bill came.
