I visited Rin My as a result of the TA reviews and while the experience was fine, I think the reviews set me up to expect a whole lot more. I visited with a suit to copy,pictures of a suit and a dress, and a long dress coat, a silk dress to copy and a shirt to copy. The fabric range is very good for suits and work shirts, limited for dresses and I was told by the very honest staff that they have little call for silk therefore a small range of a lesser quality silk. I was never offered food (not that I needed any) water was only offer on the first of 3 visits. I was not treated as family or even close friends and felt that they were almost too busy to live up to the TA reviews. I ended up with 2 suits that I'm reasonably happy with and the shirts, I went elsewhere for the remaining clothes and were delighted at the professional experience.

Thank you for taking the time to write to TA. We want all of our customers to feel like guests when they enter the shop and hopefully like part of the extended family by the time they leave.Clearly in your case we did not achieve our aim. Yes the shop is busy most days and two of our staff are off having babies. The work load increases for the other staff. This is perhaps a reason but not an excuse for the limited hospitality you experienced. You are clearly a person who gives credit where it is due and in all cases you tell it like it is. We regret our shortcoming in your case and thank you for the reminder to maintain the standards we have set ourselves for both the clothing we make and the freindly atmosphere we try to foster.
