“It is at the end of the world, funky crabs fresh out of the nets”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

Homey place, family run, not hard to get to by motel bike. We had the crabs, fish too. The beer was frosty and delicious sitting at the table outside, definitely not fancy!

“Worth the search!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 25, 2012

Make sure your taxi driver has the number to call for directions, but finding this place is all part of the fun! Pretty much on the dock of a fishing village, the seafood was fresh and the prawns were huge!

“Fantastic food!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 23, 2012

I had lunch from The End of The world Restaurant during a trip with Hoi An Eco Tours. It is family owned with mom and dad doing most of the cooking. They also apparently offer cooking classes. We had a stellar lunch! It was all so fresh and delicious and we got to try some local specialties that I haven't seen anywhere else. Mom makes an amazing stuffed squid dish that is served on a sort of rice cracker. We had bahn xeo, the typical pancake but served in a different way with star fruit and cucumber. There was s delicious fish in tomato sauce, stir fried greens in garlic sauce, spring rolls. It was wonderful. I highly recommend it!

“Absolutely a hidden gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

Dined at The End of the World Restaurant last night we caught a cab there showed the driver the business card, after winding through back streets,we arrived said to the driver how do we get back he said " I don't know!" Stuffed Calamari & Fish wrapped in banana leaves was magnificent, the local beer was pretty good too. The family make you feel very welcome. Ming is gorgeous & an excellent cook. What a hidden gem. Ssh don't tell too many people! No probs with return to Hoi An family are more than happy to call a cab.

“The journey is great and so is the food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2012 via mobile

This is a fun place to find, to get to see a bit of village Vietnam, talk to locals for help, gt the wrong directions, get some more wrong directions and then a friend person gets on there moto bike and shows you :-)
We cycled from the old town and it took about 30mins. I'll give a few more descriptions on finding it at the bottom.
The food is great and the welcome and service is wonderful. This is a home style resturant, a bamboo framework and tables, a young gathering place next door and lovely hosts who are please you made it to their resturant.
We had the stuffed squid, egg plant with garlic, grilled prawns and cod with Leon grass cooked in banana leaves.
The prawns were a bit pricey for 4 large large ones (200,000, $10) but were fresh and succulent.
The egg plant is deep fried with garlic and ossies flavour.
The stuff squid is almost a satay affair with peanuts and onions with soft cooked squid.
The cod cooked in banana leaves with finely chopped lemongrass is a good finish for two very full people.
All this for $22 - good food, good friendly home service. Ok the ambiance maybe not be 5 star - but I don't want 5 star I want good food :-)

Do yourself a favour and come here,

Ok directions. If you go along the main beach front past Golden Sands, Past Sunrise and it's the road before the Cua Dai Beach (hotel - it's doesn't has hotel on it just Cua Dai Beach). It's thin and concrete. (there is a small black sign up a telegraph pole that has a "end of the world" sign on it.
Go down here until the end and turn left. Keep going striaghts and it's just before the end.
Be careful when you ask people some will just point you in the wrong direction :-)
